It’s actually on Avenue de la Ménara – which means you’re practically next door to the Menara Gardens, but somehow it feels like this completely secluded oasis. I mean, I’ve stayed at plenty of riads in the medina where you hear every scooter and donkey cart at 6 AM, but here? The garden-level setup creates this bubble of calm that honestly made me sleep better than I had in months.

The poolside situation is where this place really shines. It’s not some tiny decorative splash – we’re talking about a proper pool where you can actually swim laps if that’s your thing. What I loved was how the apartment opens right onto the pool area, so you can literally roll out of bed and be floating in the water within thirty seconds. The garden around it is incredibly lush too, with these massive palm trees that provide natural shade during the brutal afternoon heat (and trust me, you’ll need it if you’re visiting between June and September). The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s incredibly nice house than a typical hotel experience.

Inside, the apartment itself is spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped – something that’s actually rare in Marrakech accommodations. The kitchen is fully equipped, which came in handy when we grabbed fresh produce from the local souks. Speaking of location, you’re about a fifteen-minute taxi ride from Jemaa el-Fnaa, close enough to dive into the medina madness but far enough away that you can retreat to peace and quiet when the sensory overload kicks in. The area around Avenue de la Ménara is much more residential and modern than the old city, so there are actual sidewalks and normal traffic patterns – honestly refreshing after navigating the medina’s chaotic alleys. Parking isn’t an issue here either, unlike trying to get anywhere near the main tourist areas with a rental car. The only minor thing is that you’ll want to arrange transportation since it’s not really walking distance to the main attractions, but that’s pretty standard for anywhere in Marrakech that offers this level of tranquility.
