You know what caught me off guard about M Appart? It’s tucked away on Rue Ibn Toummert in a way that feels deliberately hidden from the tourist chaos, but you’re still smack in the middle of Gueliz where everything actually happens. I mean, you can walk to the bigger hotels and restaurants in about three minutes, but when you turn onto their street, it’s like stepping into a quieter pocket of the neighborhood that most visitors never stumble across.

The whole setup is honestly pretty clever – it’s got that apart-hotel thing going on where you get way more space than a regular room, which is amazing if you’re staying more than a couple nights or traveling with family. The kitchenette situation is legit too, not just some mini-fridge and hot plate situation. I actually used it to make coffee in the mornings (the local coffee is incredible, by the way, but sometimes you just want to wake up slowly). The staff really knows their stuff about the area – they pointed me toward this little bakery about two blocks down that I never would’ve found otherwise, and honestly, it became my daily routine.

What really works about the location is that you’re close enough to Avenue Mohammed V to grab a taxi or walk to the modern shopping areas, but far enough from the main drags that you’re not dealing with constant street noise or tour groups wandering around at all hours. The neighborhood has this lived-in feeling – you’ll see families heading to school, people running actual errands, cats lounging in doorways. It’s Morocco without the performance, if that makes sense. The building itself is solid too, good AC (crucial in summer), and the wifi actually works consistently, which – let’s be honest – isn’t always a given. Check-in was smooth, parking is manageable if you’re driving, and the whole place just feels well-maintained without being sterile. That 9.1 rating makes sense once you’re there a day or two and realize how much thought went into making it work for people who want to actually settle in rather than just crash between tourist activities.

  Great location, very spacious, comfortable beds. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Showers were very small and nowhere to put shampoo etc on the wall. One of the taps was very hot and kept catching my arm on it. Sometimes the cleaner forgot to replace towels. Towel rail was loose in one of the showers. Aircon was faulty but was fixed quickly.

  Location is great if you want to really discover Morocco, local area that is in great spot close to selection of great interesting areas. Staff were all wonderful! Location is 10/20 min walk to almost everywhere. M avenue is maybe 25 min walk

• Lovely Clean Spacious Apartment – Stephen from Ireland – 18 March 2025 (8/10)

  Nicely decorated apartment, clean, spacious. Two balconies, one at the front, one at the back. The front balcony was nice and big and comfortable to sit out on. Daily change of towels but also refreshing of water bottles, which was a lovely touch. Comfortable beds. Very friendly reception staff, that were always on hand to help with anything, booking an airport taxi, or food recommendations.
  
  What could be improved: Not massively critical, but rear balcony is quite small, and some of the furniture showed some signs of wear, the toilet door handle too. The two main issues were that there was no wardrobe at all, so nowhere to put your clothes, and with 2 bedrooms that is a problem. There is only a small shelved area in the hall by the toilet. The second issue was shower design, the one in the front bedroom is so narrow you cannot pass the taps to the other side of the shower, and are constantly hitting the walls/windows of the shower while trying to wash.

  The staff was out of this world amazing and so attentive to all my needs ie. everything from transfers to booking a hair appointment for me.
  
  What could be improved: The wifi doesn't connect in the bedroom/bathrooms, but that's a small flaw considering how amazing everything else is.

  Location was good, not in the medina but not very far from it, also in a nicer area. It was clean with lot of space. I would like to emphasize the kindness and hospitality of the owners. They helped us out with everything very quickly and gave amazing recommendations. Thank you for a great stay!

  We are family of four including two kids,
  Our stay was wonderful and thanks to Mr Ismail for making it possible ,he was easily accessible and tried his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible .
  We requested late check out and was accepted kindly by the host .
