The location is pretty clever if you think about it – you’re tucked away in Domaine Noria Isli, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this quiet residential area that feels completely removed from the tourist chaos of the medina. The Route Tahanaout is one of those roads that locals use as a shortcut, so you get this weird mix of feeling like you’re in a neighborhood while still being connected to everything. Ten minutes to the airport is no joke either – I mean, you can literally hear planes if you listen for them, but it’s not that constant roar that keeps you up. More like a gentle reminder that civilization exists.

What really got me was how the owner (or whoever runs this place) actually thought about what travelers need. The air conditioning works – and I mean really works, not that half-hearted cool breeze situation you sometimes get. The WiFi is solid throughout the apartment, which matters when you’re trying to sort out your next destination or just want to video call home without walking around holding your phone up like you’re searching for a signal. But here’s the thing that made me smile: they’ve got this little garden space that feels like someone’s grandmother designed it. Nothing Instagram-perfect, just green and peaceful with those terracotta pots and maybe some mint growing that you can actually smell in the evening when things cool down.

The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile – you know how some places are so clean they feel like nobody’s ever actually stayed there? This isn’t that. You’re close enough to grab a grand taxi into the medina when you want that full Marrakech experience, but you come back to something that feels more real. The kind of place where you might actually sleep well before an early flight, or where you can decompress after dealing with the beautiful chaos of the souks. Plus, having a 10/10 rating isn’t something you see every day – usually there’s at least one person complaining about something, but apparently this place just gets it right.
