Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Marrakech, but this apartment in Prestigia Golf City actually caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you’re pulling up to Boulevard Mohamed VI, you’re not exactly expecting much from another residential complex, but the Topaze building sits right there overlooking the golf course, and honestly? The view from apartment 01 is pretty spectacular. You wake up to these pristine greens stretching out, which is a nice change from the usual medina chaos (don’t get me wrong, I love the medina, but sometimes you need to breathe).

The thing about this place is that it feels like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen’s properly equipped – I mean, you can actually cook here if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The living area opens right onto that golf view, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets in the evenings; you’re far enough from the tourist madness but still close enough to hop into the city when you want to. The building itself is well-maintained, which honestly isn’t always a given in some of these newer developments. Parking’s straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

Here’s what I’d tell anyone considering this spot: if you’re the type who wants to be right in the heart of Jemaa el-Fnaa, this probably isn’t your vibe. But if you appreciate having a proper base where you can actually relax – maybe work a bit if you’re doing the digital nomad thing – then this place makes a lot of sense. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but everything works well and the attention to detail is there. The management seems to actually care about the guest experience, which you can tell from the little touches around the apartment. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer visit to Morocco. Sometimes you just want a place where you can settle in properly, you know?
