Marrakech appart Overview

I’ll be honest, when I first pulled up to Marrakech appart on Boulevard Abdelkrim Alkhatabi, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment hotel tucked into the Al Akhwayn 2 residence. The building itself is pretty modern by Marrakech standards – you know, one of those newer complexes that actually has reliable elevators and decent lighting in the hallways. What struck me right away was how quiet it was compared to the medina madness just a few kilometers away. You’re still very much in the heart of things, but there’s this buffer zone that lets you actually sleep at night without the constant call to prayer echoing off ancient walls at 5 AM.

The apartment itself (I stayed in number 29 on the second floor) surprised me in the best way. Look, I’ve done my share of Moroccan riads with their gorgeous but sometimes impractical layouts, and this was refreshingly… well, livable. The kitchen actually works – I mean really works, not just decorative tajines and a broken burner. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because honestly, the local café scene around Madame Plaza can be hit or miss, and having real coffee at apartment prices beats paying tourist rates every single day. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which matters if you’re trying to work remotely or just want to video call home without that pixelated freeze-frame thing happening every thirty seconds.

What really sold me on this place was the neighborhood vibe. Boulevard Abdelkrim Alkhatabi isn’t one of those streets that guidebooks rave about, but that’s exactly why it works. You’ve got actual Marrakech life happening – families doing their shopping, kids playing football in the small plaza areas, the evening stroll culture that makes Moroccan cities so alive after dark. The building’s location means you can walk to the main attractions without dealing with the taxi negotiation dance every time, but you’re not sleeping above a restaurant that’s blasting music until 2 AM either. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will tell you is basically a small miracle. The whole setup just felt more sustainable for longer stays – I ended up extending my visit by four days because I actually felt settled rather than constantly tourist-ed out. It’s not going to win any architecture awards, but sometimes you just want a place that functions well and lets you experience a city without fighting your accommodation every step of the way.

Estava bem organizado, a localização para quem tem carro alugado, e o fato de ter garagem ajuda na segurança. Próximo de bons locais para tomar pequeno almoço.

What could be improved: ª Wc podia ser maior, e o duche resguardado mas aceitável.
