You know what really struck me about Villa du Golfeur? The moment you pull up to this place on Route Tahanout, you can actually breathe. I mean, you’re technically still in Marrakech – about 20 minutes from the medina madness – but it feels like you’ve escaped to someone’s really nice family compound. The Résidence Noria area is one of those spots that locals know about but tourists usually miss, which honestly works in your favor. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that’s not trying to pack in tour groups, especially since this place is families only. The kids were running around the pool area making friends with other families from France and Belgium, and I could actually relax without worrying about disturbing business travelers or honeymooners.

The villa itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – you can tell the owners actually care about the details. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over suitcases, and the kitchen (yes, there’s a proper kitchen) had everything we needed for those mornings when we just wanted to make coffee and pastries without dealing with restaurant timing. What really sold me was the outdoor space – there’s this covered terrace where we ended up spending most evenings, and the garden area where the kids could play while we figured out the next day’s plans. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s perfectly fine for families, and the water was always clean. I actually appreciated that it wasn’t one of those massive resort-style pools that get chaotic.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience both sides of Marrakech. You’re close enough to drive into the city center for the souks and main attractions (parking near Jemaa el-Fna is still a nightmare, but that’s not the villa’s fault), but you’re also positioned perfectly for day trips toward the Atlas Mountains – the Ourika Valley is maybe 30 minutes away, and the drive through Tassaltant gives you those gorgeous mountain views. The family running the place knows the area really well, so they can point you toward the less touristy hiking spots and better local restaurants. Check-in was smooth, none of that standing-around-waiting stuff, and they were genuinely helpful with recommendations rather than just handing you a generic brochure. With a 9.8 rating, I was expecting it to be good, but it exceeded that – it’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even left.

  Our stay at the villa was simply fantastic! We were a group of 6 friends and found in Abdou and his wife not only warm hosts but also true friends. Abdou was more than a landlord; he was there for us around the clock, from picking us up at the airport to arranging a car rental at a great price and providing valuable tips for our adventure in Marrakech.
  
  The villa itself exceeded all our expectations. Fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, and iron, we lacked nothing. The location in a guarded new-build village gave us a sense of security, and the outdoor facilities with a modern and clean pool were simply fantastic.
  
  Each room had its own bathroom and dressing room, making our stay even more comfortable. We can only warmly recommend this villa and are already considering returning there soon. Many thanks to Abdou and his team for an unforgettable experience!
  
  A small note for future guests: The villa is located in a burgeoning new-build area where construction activities are still taking place. Therefore, there may be a bit more noise in the early morning hours. However, this is a temporary situation and is beyond Abdou's control. Nevertheless, this did not affect our stay, and we enjoyed every minute in this wonderful villa. Once again, many thanks to Abdou and his team for their warm hospitality!

  Une très belle villa avec de très beaux volumes.
  Conforme aux photos. Des hôtes très gentils et bienveillants. Toujours disponible et très réactif. Nous avons subit la tempête de sable et le lendemain matin ils avaient déjà réservé le pisciniste pour nous permettre de profiter de la piscine. Lala Hafida nous a régalé de ses petits dej et ses repas de qualité. Sa discrétion tout en nous offrant un service de ménage de qualité est vraiment appréciable.
  Le centre ville est à environ 10minutes en voiture.

  Kein Frühstück gebucht.
  Küche ist gut grundausgestattet, ein moderner riesiger Kühlschrank, ein sechsflammiger Gasherd, Microwelle und Ofen und ein Steingrill auf der Terrasse mit direktem Zugang aus der Küche. Die Zimmer und der Garten sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und mit sehr großen Glastüren inkl Rolläden zum Garten oder Balkon versehen. Die Reinigungskraft ist täglich im Hause (nach Absprache zur gewünschten Zeit).
  
  What could be improved: Das hat NICHTS mit der Villa zu tun: die Innenstadt ist nicht fußläufig erreichbar. Allerdings bekommt man ein Taxi für 80-100 Dirham, was etwa 8€ entspricht. Nach Sonnenuntergang teurer!
