So I stayed at this place called Mouzdalifa Apartment last spring, and honestly, it’s one of those spots that grows on you. The name makes it sound fancier than it is – it’s actually more like a really solid apartment-style hotel right on Boulevard Al Mouzdalifa, which, if you know Marrakech at all, puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the medina but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the constant chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa at all hours.

The building itself is pretty typical for that area – sort of modern Moroccan architecture, nothing too flashy, but they’ve done a good job with the interiors. What I really appreciated was the space, you know? Most hotels in Marrakech either cram you into tiny riads or stick you in these massive resort complexes, but this felt more like… well, like staying in someone’s well-appointed apartment. The kitchen setup was actually functional (rare in hotel apartments, trust me), and the living area had these really comfortable couches where I’d sit with mint tea in the evenings. The wifi was decent too, which matters if you’re trying to upload photos or catch up on work – I mean, let’s be real about these things.

Location-wise, you’re about a fifteen-minute walk from Gueliz, which is perfect for when you want proper coffee or need to hit the Carrefour for supplies. The street can get a bit noisy during the day with traffic, but it quiets down at night, and honestly, after a few days in Morocco, you sort of tune out the usual city sounds anyway. What I loved was being able to walk to the medina entrance near Bab Nkob in about twenty minutes – close enough to explore but far enough that you’re not breathing in cooking smoke and hearing the call to prayer echo off ancient walls all night. The staff was pretty helpful too, though check-in took longer than expected because they were dealing with some kind of system issue. Nothing terrible, just… bring a book or something. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want more space than a typical hotel room and don’t mind being slightly outside the main tourist bubble – actually, that’s probably a selling point for most people.

  Le personnel à l'arrivé et au départ était super, le confort était super et l'emplacement de l'appartement également, le parking au top avec l'ascenseur.
  
  Pas besoin de prendre la voiture car vous trouverez tout à proximité.
  
  Juste la climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas beaucoup.
  
  Et pas de chaînes tv françaises !!!
  
  Nous avons passé juste 2 nuits en famille et un grand merci à nos hôtes qui ont été très accueillants et je recommande vivement cet appartement.
  
  Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié et nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine insha'allah.

  Based on very good location. Pool was very good and very specious for families.
  
  What could be improved: Main bathroom sink had the issue with water not passing properly and on 2 occasions saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom.

  Grand appartement propre avec deux salles de bain/WC. Toutes commodités. Sèche-cheveux, fer à repasser, lave-linge, cafetières, etc… Cuisine équipée et fonctionnelle. Résidence sécurisée, calme avec piscine. Ascenseur. Commerces et restauration à proximité. Quartier sûr. Transports en commun et taxis quasi au pied de l'immeuble. Pas très loin du jardin Majorelle. Idéal pour une famille. Excellent accueil chaleureux de l'hôte (Mounia). Elle est toujours à l'écoute et serviable !
  
  What could be improved: Appartement un peu froid l'hiver car pas de radiateur. Pas de chaînes francophones sur la TV. Nombreuses lumières et ampoules hors service. Volet roulant électrique d'accès au balcon qui s'arrête aux deux tiers de son ouverture. Pas de micro-onde dans la cuisine. Un peu excentré par rapport à la ville de Marrakech, de sa médina et de la place Jemaa el Fna.
