The French colonial architecture mixed with modern Moroccan style creates this interesting vibe that’s way more authentic than those cookie-cutter riads everyone talks about.

The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering – and I’m not just saying that because I’ve circled Gueliz blocks for twenty minutes looking for a spot before. It’s actually designated parking, which in this part of town is like finding gold. The whole area buzzes with energy during the day (think café culture meets local business district), but it settles into this pleasant hum by evening. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to soundproof the rooms despite being on such a busy avenue. The IPTV setup is surprisingly comprehensive too – they’ve got international channels that actually work, plus local programming if you want to practice your French or Arabic while sipping mint tea.

The location puts you within walking distance of some seriously good restaurants that tourists rarely discover. There’s this little pastry shop two blocks down that locals line up at every morning, and the evening food scene around Place du 16 Novembre is just a short stroll away. But here’s what I really appreciate – you’re close enough to the medina to hop over when you want that classic Marrakech experience, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant hustle and noise. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well; they pointed me toward a hammam that was half the price of the touristy ones and twice as authentic. Small details like that make the 9-star rating make sense – it’s not just about thread count and marble bathrooms (though those are nice too), it’s about feeling like you’ve got local insiders helping you navigate the city properly.

  Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und es war alles da, was wir brauchen. Gekocht haben wir nicht, daher kann ich keine Auskunft darüber geben. Die Betten sind super angenehm, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. IPTV bietet eine ganze Reihe an Filmen in verschiedenen Sprachen an. Die Couch ist ausziehbar.
  Es ist auf jedenfall gut ein Video direkt vor Benutzung zu machen, da es an manchen Möbeln und Wänden Gebrauchsspuren gibt, aber es war nicht nötig im Anschluss.
  Das einzige, das mir nicht gefiel war die Dusche. Hier ist muss mit Kalkreiniger gereinigt werden.
