First thing you notice is the location. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from the Majorelle Gardens, which sounds touristy until you realize what that actually means for your daily routine. While everyone else is taking expensive taxis or haggling with drivers, you’re walking over in flip-flops with your morning coffee. The Résidence Assafa complex itself is tucked away from the main tourist chaos – you know how Avenue Yacoub el Mansour can get absolutely mental during peak season – but you’re still close enough that you can pop into Gueliz for dinner or shopping without it being a whole production. The building’s got that clean, modern Moroccan vibe going on, which honestly feels like a breath of fresh air after you’ve been wandering around the medina all day.

What really got me about this apartment though was the terrace situation. I’ve stayed in plenty of riads where they promise “rooftop access” and you end up sharing a tiny space with twelve other guests, but this is your own private outdoor area. You can actually spread out, have breakfast without someone breathing down your neck, and – this is key – the Wi-Fi reaches out there perfectly for those inevitable work calls (the IPTV thing is legit too, saved me during a rainy afternoon). The apartment itself feels genuinely new, not that “we slapped some fresh paint on 20-year-old furniture” kind of new. Air conditioning that actually works, shower with proper water pressure, kitchen that’s equipped enough for real cooking if you hit up the Carrefour down the road.

Look, I’ll be straight with you – parking can be a bit of a dance if you’re renting a car, and the elevator’s one of those European-sized ones that makes you question your packing choices. But the trade-off is worth it. The building’s quiet at night (which, if you’ve ever tried to sleep near Jemaa el-Fnaa, you’ll appreciate), the neighbors are a mix of locals and long-term visitors rather than party tourists, and the whole setup just feels more like staying somewhere real rather than some sterile hotel bubble. Plus, the host actually knows the area – gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the usual suspect places you find on every blog post. It’s got that 4-star comfort level without the 4-star attitude, if that makes sense. For the price point and what you get, especially with that terrace and the Majorelle proximity, it’s honestly a solid choice for anyone who wants to experience Marrakech without constantly feeling like they’re performing being a tourist.

  The property is very good for a family with two children. You can walk from the property to the most attracts in Marrakesh by walking within 30 minutes.
  
  The host was ready when we arrived, did not need to wait long to pick the keys. He also guided us some information such as delivery app or taxi app (my experience was that you need to increase the price by 10-15MAD to get a taxi driver's acceptance).
  
  What could be improved: There is a construction site in front of the property, so it's very noisy during the weekdays as labours working on the site. It's good enough to sleep at nights but will be woke up in morning around 7-8am.

  First, I would like to say something about Mohamed, the man who met us at the apartment and gave us the keys. He is a great man, he helped us with the complications with the mobile phone, which we forgot in the taxi when leaving Marrakech and going back to the airport. He managed to get it back and send it to us via DHL, we will always be grateful for that! Jazak Allah khayran!
  As for the apartment-
  Spacious, modern, nicely furnished apartment, it looks like in the pictures. The mosque is located just 2 minutes away, which is great for those of us who want to pray Fajr and Isha prayer with the community. Also, the Carrefour market is only 2 minutes away. And also one of the most visited tourist locations – Jardin Majorelle, is only a few minutes' walk away. Definitely recommend.

  The apartment was quite roomy and nice.
  
  What could be improved: They need to change their towels – they were threadborne. Construction going on on the street and opposite the building so it was quite dusty and a bit noisy. No maps or restaurant cards, cab services, etc. in the flat.

  Diese Wohnung war sehr hell, sauber und gut ausgestattet.
  Die Lage ist gut, die Stadt ist schnell zu erreichen.
  Die Dienstleistungen vom Gastgeber bzw. von zuständigen Agentur haben einwandfrei funktioniert, sie waren jede Zeit erreichbar und haben bei jedem Anliegen sofort und professionell gehandelt.

  sicuramente un appartamento confortevole e grande con due camere separate e dotate di bagno indipendente… Potrebbe ospitare tranquillamente fino a 4/5 persone…
  
  What could be improved: difronte alla struttura c’è un enorme cantiere aperto in cui si lavora praticamente tutti i giorni sabato compreso! i rumori sono inevitabili così come la vista dal terrazzo è compromessa notevolmente in questo periodo (giugno 2023).
  la posizione non è delle migliori, non lo consiglio per che vuole stare vicino alla Medina (città vecchia) anche se è servito da diversi autobus che si recano spesso in centro…

  it was very clean and well located to everything we wanted to do during our trip.
  
  What could be improved: the construction works in front of the apartment, especially when they worked during the night. I know this is out of the control of the property but it would have been better if we knew the construction works would have been ALL NIGHT.
