The name makes it sound like some generic apartment complex, but honestly, this place is tucked away in the Jnane Awrad neighborhood in a way that feels like you’ve discovered something locals have been keeping to themselves. I mean, you’re still in Marrakech proper, but there’s this quieter residential vibe that’s actually refreshing after dealing with the intensity of the medina all day.

The apartment itself sits in Résidence le RUBIS – and I’ll be honest, the building names around here can sound fancier than they look from the outside, but step inside and you realize why this place is pulling a 9.3 rating. The setup is properly thought out, not just thrown together like some of the vacation rentals you see. There’s actual space to spread out your stuff (thank god, because hotel rooms in Marrakech can feel cramped), and the kitchen isn’t just for show – you can actually cook if you want to grab ingredients from the local markets. Which, by the way, you should do because the morning market scene in this part of town is way more chill than the tourist madness elsewhere.

What really sold me on the location was realizing you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough out that you’re not hearing scooters honking at 2 AM. You can walk to the main action – though honestly, you’ll probably want to grab a petit taxi for the medina because it’s still a proper walk – but when you come back at night, there’s this sense of actually coming home rather than just crashing at a hotel. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you see families going about their evening routines, kids playing in the courtyard areas. It’s the kind of authentic Marrakech experience people talk about wanting but rarely find because they book places right in the thick of the tourist zones. The host situation is solid too – they actually respond to messages and seem to know the area well enough to point you toward the good stuff rather than just handing you a generic city guide.

  Muy cómodo y tranquilo, lejos del bullicio del centro. Equipamiento adecuado para corta estancia. La seguridad del recinto con vigilancia. En el barrio hay pequeñas tiendas, cafés y comida rápida. Estás en un barrio de clase media de la ciudad, no hay turistas. Hay varias líneas de autobús en la avenida para ir al centro de Marrakech.
  
  What could be improved: Pequeños detalles de mantenimiento, un enchufe suelto en la cocina, restos de pintura en un toallero, nada grave.

  Topappartement. Instapklaar.
  Alles aanwezig: wasmachine, strijkijzer, droogrek, kleerhangers, keuken goed uitgerust zelfs sponsjes, vuilbak met -zakjes, frigo, kuisproducten etc, ruim voldoende bedlinnen handdoeken en wc-papier, toiletartikelen, rolluiken, tv met YouTube. Alles top. Vlotte communicatie. Vriendelijke portier!
  
  Enige minpuntje: keukenkraan defect.
  
  (*geen ligbedden aan zwembad) maar heeft niets met de host te maken, is een grote residentie.

  El apartamento precioso, muy bien situado, muy limpio. El dueño un encanto nos dio todas las facilidades para llegar y para la salida. Recomendable al 100% y sin duda repetiremos.

  Il a même envoyé la localisation d’avance et nous avons trouvé de suite un parking disponible très important.
  Bien sécurisé par un gardien du matin au soir.

  Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf in dit Oasis appartement in Marrakech met mijn vrouw. Na een lange reis waren we aangenaam verrast door een rustige omgeving met heel veel winkels. Het appartement was brandschoon met 2 airconditioning, met alle nodige comfort. De eigenaar van het appartement was zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en attent, wat ons verblijf nog aangenamer maakte. Wij raden dit Oasis appartement aan iedereen die op zoek is, naar een Oasis Appart van rust in Marrakech.

  Excellent séjour chez Ahmed ,accueillant souriant et disponible. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix équipé et chaleureux avec beaucoup de commerces et restaurants dans la zone. Résidence sécurisé avec gardien et 2 piscines , 15 min en taxi de gueliz et jema el fna – mc do a 5 min à pieds ouvert très tard. Merci à Ahmed pour son accueil on reviendra c’est sur 🙌🏾
