It’s tucked away on Route de Ouarzazate – you know, that road that heads toward the Atlas Mountains – so you’re close enough to the medina action but far enough out that you can actually sleep without hearing motorbikes revving at 2 AM. The location is honestly pretty clever because you’re maybe fifteen minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa by taxi, but you feel like you’re in this peaceful bubble.

The first thing that hit me walking in was how they’ve managed to nail that traditional Moroccan vibe without it feeling like a theme park. The courtyard has this gorgeous fountain (and I mean actually gorgeous, not just saying that), and the staff – well, they’re the kind of people who remember your name after day one and genuinely seem to care about whether you’re having a good time. The rooms are spacious, which is saying something for Morocco, and the beds are actually comfortable – you’d be surprised how many riads skimp on mattresses. What really got me though was the attention to detail… the tilework is stunning, the lighting creates this warm ambiance in the evenings, and they’ve got this rooftop terrace where you can see the Atlas Mountains on clear days. I spent way too many mornings up there with mint tea just watching the city wake up.

Here’s what I really appreciate about this place – it feels authentic without being stuffy. The hammam is properly done (not just a fancy bathroom calling itself a spa), and the restaurant serves food that locals would actually eat, not just tagines dumbed down for tourists. The pool area is perfect for those blazing afternoon hours when exploring the souks becomes physically impossible – trust me, you’ll need that escape around 2 PM in summer. Parking is sorted if you’re driving, which is a genuine relief because navigating Marrakech with a rental car is… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure. The staff helped arrange everything from airport transfers to day trips to the desert, and they actually gave good recommendations, not just the places that probably pay them commissions. I mean, they sent me to this incredible restaurant in Gueliz that I never would have found otherwise. Honestly, for a four-star place, it punches way above its weight – I’ve stayed at five-star properties that felt more generic and soulless than this. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between authentic Moroccan hospitality and modern comfort, this is your place.

  The villa was so clean, all 10 of us enjoyed every minute spent there. The care taker/house keeper were very friendly and supported us with all our needs. The breakfast on our last day was sooo good! The chef was amazing. The house manager was swift with response. We wished we stayed longer. I am definitely coming back here!
