Palais Menzah & SPA Overview
First Impressions
Driving up the Route de Fès toward Palais Menzah & SPA, you’ll notice how the landscape shifts from Marrakech‘s bustling medina energy to something more serene. The property sits in that sweet spot where you’re still connected to the city but far enough out to actually hear yourself think. I mean, the name says “palais” for a reason — there’s definitely an old-world Moroccan elegance here that hits you the moment you walk through the entrance. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, just quietly impressive in that way that makes you slow down and take a proper breath.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re positioned perfectly for exploring Marrakech without being stuck in the chaos. The Route de Fès location means you can easily reach the medina when you want that authentic souk experience, but you can also escape back to peace and quiet. Couples seem to really get this balance (honestly, the romantic vibe here is pretty undeniable), and I can see why they rate it so highly. You’ve got free private parking on site, which is actually a bigger deal than it sounds when you’re navigating Moroccan traffic for the first time.
The Spa Experience
The spa element isn’t just an add-on here — it’s clearly been thought through properly. After spending days wandering through dusty souks and climbing up to rooftop terraces, having a real spa to retreat to feels essential rather than indulgent. The treatments lean into traditional Moroccan wellness practices, and the space itself has that calm, almost meditative quality that you need after sensory overload in the city. You know what’s nice? They’ve managed to create spa areas that feel authentically Moroccan without falling into tourist trap territory.
Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast here covers all the bases — continental options alongside vegetarian and gluten-free choices, which is honestly refreshing when you’re traveling with different dietary needs. The morning spread takes advantage of Morocco’s incredible produce, and you’ll find yourself trying combinations you wouldn’t think to order elsewhere. I particularly appreciated how they balance familiar international options with local flavors, so you can ease into Moroccan cuisine or dive right in depending on your mood. The setting for breakfast is pretty special too — there’s something about starting your day in a traditional riad-style courtyard that just sets the right tone.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.7 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s the kind of place that delivers on the Morocco experience without overwhelming you — refined but not stuffy, traditional but not stuck in the past. The combination of spa facilities, thoughtful location, and genuine Moroccan hospitality creates something that feels both authentic and comfortable. For couples especially, there’s this romantic, almost timeless quality that makes ordinary moments feel a bit more special. You’re getting real value here, not just a place to sleep between sightseeing marathons.
Hotels in Marrakech line palm groves, medina alleys, and Atlas-facing boulevards perfumed with orange blossom.

Reviews of Palais Menzah & SPA
Exceptional – Adnane from Estonia – 18 May 2025 (10/10)
Lovely place—very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good, and the staff were fantastic, especially Mouad, who was incredibly helpful. I definitely recommend this place!
Perfect to avoid the crowded hotels in Marrakech – Rob from Netherlands – 29 April 2025 (9/10)
Close to Marrakech, easy to find. Friendly staff, very quiet and relaxed!
Lovely staff – Mohamed from United Kingdom – 16 April 2025 (10/10)
Mouaz and the other shift guy were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Even our little kids loved them. They were also helpful with our special needs son around food at breakfast time.
What could be improved: Nothing I didn't like – but a lot of the reviews are spot on. This is a boutique low-scale hotel, it has only 4-5 rooms, 1-2 staff (during Apr visit, not sure during peak months what the situation is). Expect to do some things hands-on (no vallet, there's only 1 person doing everything etc).
Getting there was a bit tricky on day 1, soon as we knew the right way in, it was very easy.
Food options are limited in the hotel/area, no delivery support in that area so having a car is essential if you have family and need food.|Superb! – Sasiekala from United Kingdom – 9 April 2025 (10/10)

Amazing hotel and nice to escape the bustling city of Marrakech. Best coffee we’ve had in Morocco. Incredible breakfast, great hospitality. Portion sizes for dinner were plentiful, tasty but could maybe offer something else besides tagine/ couscous.
What could be improved: Be weary of taxis/ indrive taking you here. They requested additional money on both of our trips claiming the distance was further than what they thought.Very relaxing – Quinten from Belgium – 15 March 2025 (9/10)
The property was amazing, very clean, very beautiful
What could be improved: It was a bit difficult to get to. The access road was not well illuminated. The patron told me that this was because the hotel had only been opened very recently, so I trust this will be fixed in the futureSuperb – Smetana from United States – 5 March 2025 (9/10)
Mouad was a great host.
In short we had a great stay for the value but some things can definitely be improved. – Anais from Switzerland – 2 March 2025 (8/10)
It was such a nice place with a lot of potential. Mohad at the reception made sure that we had everything we needed and was always friendly and smiling.
As it is a small place with only 5 bedrooms, we were lucky to meet another 2 groups of people and had a great time all together. It felt like a family home.
What could be improved: It has only recently open so some things are missing.
The biggest problem for us was how loud it gets because it isn’t insulated well.Exceptional – Stu from United Kingdom – 14 February 2025 (10/10)
Such a beautiful place stunning rooms and lounge areas and staff that make you feel at home , outside the city and in a very quiet area so perfect of you want peace and relaxation in between visits to the hectic but fun marrakech centre , Mouad made me feel extremely welcome helped me out arranging drivers to the city centre and back making sure everything was OK with my stay and I was looked after even when away from the hotel not overpaying for taxis and buying souvenirs etc . Excellent value for money beautiful room comfortable and most amazing views from my rooms balcony of the Atlas mountains 10/10 for the property and staff the famous Arabic hospitality at its best
A wonderful quiet hideaway – Patrick from Ireland – 1 January 2025 (10/10)
