The main pool area is where everyone gravitates – it’s got this lazy river thing going on that the kids absolutely lose their minds over, plus enough space that you’re not fighting for a decent spot even during peak season. What I appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep it feeling Moroccan without going overboard on the tourist kitsch. The architecture has those traditional touches – the archways, the tilework – but it doesn’t feel like you’re staying in some theme park version of Morocco. The restaurants rotate their menus enough that you won’t get bored if you’re staying for a week, though honestly, the Moroccan nights with the tagines and the live music are definitely the highlight. Pro tip: the poolside bar makes a surprisingly decent mojito, and the staff there – especially this guy Hassan – actually remembers what you like after a couple days.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they get there: you’re perfectly positioned for day trips to the Atlas Mountains or those Instagram-famous Ourika Valley waterfalls, but you’re also close enough to zip back into Marrakech for dinner at Jemaa el-Fnaa if you want that authentic medina experience. The hotel runs a shuttle service, though it’s not super frequent, so I’d recommend renting a car if you want flexibility. The rooms are solid – not luxury, but clean and comfortable with decent AC (crucial during summer months). Some of the poolside rooms can get a bit noisy with families, but honestly, that’s part of the charm if you’re traveling with kids. The evening entertainment is hit or miss – some nights you get genuinely talented musicians and dancers, other nights it’s more like hotel karaoke. But at an 8.7 rating, they’re clearly doing something right. It’s one of those places where you can actually relax without constantly worrying about whether you’re missing out on something, which is rarer than you’d think.

  The friendliest Service I have received in a very long time. from the moment we walked into the Front Reception until we checked out. Every member of staff that I came in to contact was 10/10. Zak, Hamza and Kaoula from front desk was so helpful. Also Ayub and Younis from restaurant was really great.
