You know what caught me off guard about PO 10? It’s not actually in the city center like so many Marrakech hotels – it’s tucked away in the Golf Prestigia development about 20 minutes from the medina, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. The moment you pull up (and yes, parking is a breeze here, unlike downtown), you realize this is more like staying in someone’s incredibly well-appointed apartment than a traditional hotel.

The setup is pretty sweet – these are proper luxury apartments with full kitchens, which I actually used because there’s something satisfying about making morning coffee while looking out at the golf course. The pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time, and it’s got that perfect North African vibe without feeling touristy. I mean, the water’s always the right temperature, and there are enough loungers that you’re not doing the whole dawn patrol thing to claim a spot. The club house is legit too – I grabbed lunch there a couple times and the staff clearly knows their regulars, which gives it an authentic feel.

What really works about this place is the balance. You’re close enough to Marrakech that a quick taxi ride gets you to Jemaa el-Fnaa or the souks (though expect to pay around 80-100 dirhams each way), but far enough out that you escape the intensity of the city. The Prestigia area itself is pretty quiet – it’s where a lot of well-heeled Moroccans have second homes, so it doesn’t have that resort bubble feeling. Evenings are genuinely peaceful, just the sound of golf carts and maybe some distant call to prayer. The apartments themselves are spacious in a way that’s rare for Morocco – I’m talking proper living rooms where you can actually spread out. Air conditioning works perfectly (crucial in summer), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t miss my own. Only minor thing is the WiFi can be spotty in some corners of the apartments, but honestly, that might be a blessing depending on why you’re there.
