You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name’s a bit of a mouthful – “Pool View With Garden in Prestigia” – but it’s actually pretty accurate once you’re there. I mean, you really do get that pool view, and the garden situation is legit. It’s tucked into this modern complex on Boulevard Mohamed VI, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time (the Topaze entrance isn’t super obvious from the street), but once you’re inside, it feels like you’ve stumbled into something special.

The Prestigia development itself is one of those newer residential areas that locals either love or find too polished – I sort of get both sides. It’s definitely got that manicured feel, but there’s something nice about having actual green spaces and a pool that’s not packed with tourists. The apartment sits on the second floor of Building 83, and check-in was surprisingly smooth for what’s basically a private rental setup. The owner actually met me there, which felt refreshingly personal after dealing with faceless hotel chains. WiFi works great, by the way – I was able to work from the little balcony without any issues, and you can see the Atlas Mountains on clear days if you crane your neck just right.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings. You’re close enough to the action (Mohammed VI Boulevard has some solid restaurants and that big Carrefour if you need supplies), but far enough from the medina chaos that you can actually sleep. The pool area doesn’t get crazy busy either – mostly families during the day, pretty peaceful after 6 PM. Honestly, after spending a few days in the old city dealing with the constant noise and hustle, this felt like a proper retreat. The kitchen’s well-equipped too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings and just sitting by that garden view with my coffee. It’s not fancy, but it’s real – and sometimes that’s exactly what you need in a place like Marrakech where everything else is trying so hard to be an experience.

  Ruim appartement.
  Directe toegang tot zwembad.
  Overdekte terras was een groot voordeel.
  Goede bedden, ruime slaapkamers.
  Veel groen en planten, zelfs bloemen van verschillende kleuren.
  Ondanks wat afgelegen plaats toch een restaurant van max 10 minuten te stappen, winkeltje 15 minuten te stappen.
  Zeer correcte en vriendelijke security.
  
  What could be improved: Zeer slechte wi-fi.
  Niet mogelijk de TV te kijken door slechte wi-fi.
  Niet kunnen op PC te werken door slechte wi-fi, dus niet bereikbaar voor dringende zaken in mijn job (ondanks dat het geen werkreis was…vond ik het zeer teleurstellend).
  Mieren in de keuken.
  Enkele kakkerlakken in de appartement.
