The whole setup is way more sophisticated than I expected when I first pulled up to this residential-style complex in the newer part of Marrakech. I mean, you’re not getting the traditional riad experience here – this is modern Morocco, and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you need after a long day of navigating the medina chaos.

The golf course integration is the real deal, not just some marketing gimmick. I watched people teeing off from my ground-floor terrace while sipping morning coffee, and there’s something genuinely relaxing about having all that green space right there. The pool area gets busy around 2 PM when families start showing up, but early morning and late afternoon? You’ve basically got it to yourself. The water’s kept properly heated too, which you don’t always get at places like this. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the noise down – even with kids around the pool, the layout means you’re not dealing with echo chambers like at some resorts.

The location throws some people off because it’s not walking distance to Jemaa el-Fnaa, but actually that worked in my favor. You’re about 15 minutes by taxi to the main tourist spots, but you’re also close to the newer shopping areas and some genuinely good restaurants that locals actually use. The Carrefour nearby is a lifesaver if you need basics without haggling, and there’s decent parking if you’re brave enough to rent a car in Marrakech (which I don’t necessarily recommend, but some people do it). The staff genuinely knows the area too – they gave me directions to a hammam that wasn’t on any tourist map and it was incredible. Check-in was smooth, though they do get backed up around 3 PM when everyone’s trying to get in at once. The whole complex feels secure without being fortress-like, which is nice when you’re trying to relax but still want that Morocco experience. I’d say it hits that sweet spot between authentic local living and having the amenities you actually want – proper WiFi, reliable hot water, and air conditioning that works when the Marrakech heat gets serious in summer.
