I mean, you’re expecting maybe a traditional riad or something right in the medina, but this place is in the newer Prestigia area – and honestly, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The apartment-style setup (it’s literally apartment 4 in building 264) threw me at first, but it works really well if you want more space than your typical hotel room. The whole Prestigia complex has this golf resort vibe going on, which explains the name, and you can actually see some of the greens from certain windows. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the main tourist chaos but still close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to Jemaa el-Fnaa in maybe 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The locals I talked to all knew exactly where Prestigia was, so no confusion with drivers, which is always a relief.

The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being overly fancy. Check-in was smooth, parking wasn’t an issue (huge plus if you’re renting a car), and the whole setup felt more like staying in a friend’s apartment than a hotel, which I actually loved. The kitchen situation is pretty solid if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour that’s not too far away – sometimes you just want to make coffee your own way, you know? The 8.2 rating makes sense too; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does what it promises without any major headaches. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something a bit different from the typical Marrakech experience – especially if you’re planning to spend time both exploring the city and just relaxing somewhere that feels more residential and less touristy. The golf course access is a nice bonus if that’s your thing, though I’ll be honest, I spent more time enjoying the peace and quiet than perfecting my swing.

  Place is near airport and was short drive from it. May be less than 10 min. Host is excellent. Was waiting in the apartment for my late check-in even at 12 midnight. The surroundings of the gated compound with swimming pool and golf course view makes it very peaceful and good for a morning walk. The security at the main compound is good. We had great morning walk which was an excellent start of the day. Extra blankets and mattress was also available.
  
  What could be improved: As its away from the city center, you may have to take taxi or bus to medina.

  A comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely garden and pool. Our flight was cancelled and we booked and arrived close to midnight but the owner arrived in 10 minutes to greet us with great kindness. It certainly made a stressful situation better.
