The golf course is right there, which is brilliant if you’re into that, but even if you’re not, it just means you wake up to these expansive green views instead of construction sites or busy streets. I stayed there during Ramadan once and the quiet was incredible – you could actually hear the call to prayer from the neighborhood mosque without all the usual city noise drowning it out.

What really gets me is how the locals have embraced this place. There’s a small café about a five-minute walk away where the golf course staff grab their morning coffee, and the guy who runs it (Ahmed, I think?) knows everyone by name and makes this mint tea that’s honestly better than what you’ll get at most fancy hotels. The apartment has everything you need – proper kitchen, comfortable beds, decent Wi-Fi – but it’s those little details that matter. Like, the shower actually has good water pressure (not always a given in Morocco), and there’s this small balcony where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the groundskeepers prepare the golf course. Parking is straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The only thing I’d mention is that if you’re the type who needs to be in the thick of things, you’ll want to factor in about 15-20 minutes to get to the main tourist areas – but honestly, after a day of haggling in the souks, coming back to this peaceful spot feels like a complete reset.

Kind of halfway from both the airport and the Medina, so needed the taxi most of the time (25-30 minutes by walk from the airport, 30-35 minutes from the Medina).
