Résidence Mirador MAJORELLE Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Résidence Mirador MAJORELLE? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there – it really does feel like you’re perched up looking down at the city, especially from the upper floors. The location on Rue Yves Saint Laurent is honestly brilliant, and I mean that in the most practical way possible. You’re close enough to the Majorelle Garden that you can actually walk there in about five minutes (though honestly, in Marrakech heat, you might want to grab a petit taxi anyway), but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually get some sleep at night.
The whole place has this sort of understated elegance that works really well – it’s not trying too hard to be a riad with all the traditional Moroccan stuff everywhere, but it’s not completely sterile either. The rooms are spacious, which is actually pretty rare in Marrakech properties, and the air conditioning works properly (trust me, you’ll care about this more than you think). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even during the busier tourist seasons. The staff genuinely knows their stuff too – they’ll give you actual directions instead of just pointing vaguely toward the medina, and they can sort out reliable taxi drivers, which is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to get around the city.
The pool area is where this place really shines, honestly. It’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for cooling off after you’ve spent the morning getting lost in the souks or climbing around the Saadian Tombs. The whole setup feels more like a well-designed apartment complex than a hotel, which sounds weird but actually works in your favor – there’s less of that formal hotel atmosphere and more of a “you can actually relax here” vibe. Parking is sorted if you’re brave enough to drive in Morocco (though I’d probably stick with taxis), and the breakfast situation is solid without being fancy. The location means you’re also really close to some of the better restaurants that locals actually go to, not just the tourist traps near Jemaa el-Fnaa. I mean, you can walk to the medina when you want that full sensory overload experience, but you can also retreat back to somewhere calm when you need to decompress. For the price point and that 4-star rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for – comfortable, well-located, and run by people who actually seem to care about whether you have a good stay.

Reviews of Résidence Mirador MAJORELLE
Disappointing and left after 1 night of multiple nights booked – Melissa from Netherlands – 24 April 2025 (4/10)
What could be improved: When I arrived, there was only a security guard and he had no idea where to direct me – to which apartment – I was staying in. He asked me what number apartment and I said: "you tell me?!" How was I supposed to know this when just arriving with only my Booking.com information with me and no message stating this information. The apartment itself was ok once we got in. My daughter went to sit on a chair on the balcony and it broke instantly unfortunately. Bad luck we had it seems. I selected and booked this place because of the pool but didn't see a single person swimming there and there were no chairs around the pool to lounge in, and with all the men security guards/workers around, I did not feel completely comfortable just getting into my bikini and swimming there. The apartment complex was almost entirely full of locals so it felt a bit awkward as the only visible tourists.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet and in an excellent location. The photographs are accurate.
There were cafe, restaurants and shops nearby, and easy access into the centre of Marrakech.
I would certainly stay there again.
What could be improved: The gentleman who met me at the apartment with the keys, was not entirely helpful or friendly, but was there st the appointed time.Superb – Mireille from France – 6 November 2024 (9/10)
Super emplacement super calme le soir taxi juste à côté ou au coin de la rue , gardien et concierge super sympa .
Perfect – Amela from Netherlands – 18 June 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was spacious, clean and a great location. It has two terraces to sit outside, hang your clothes to dry or have a nice meal together. It’s ideal for a family because of the location being a bit more on the quiet side at night, which is a must for us personally. It’s a 1 minute walk to the majorelle garden / 2 for YSL museum and you have restaurants right when you step out of the complex, as well as the opportunity to get a taxi quickly to take you to other parts of the city. The pool was bigger than expected and was perfect to entertain kids in the heat. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
