Résidence Miramare Marrakech Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Résidence Miramare Marrakech – it’s one of those places that totally surprised me. When I first got the address on Boulevard Houman El Fatouaki, I honestly thought I’d be staying in some touristy area, but you’re actually right in the thick of the medina action. I mean, you can literally walk out and be haggling for spices in the souks within minutes, which is exactly what you want when you’re in Marrakech.
The thing that struck me right away was how they’ve managed to create this little oasis feeling while still being so connected to everything. The apartment setup is pretty clever – you get way more space than a typical hotel room, and honestly, after a long day of wandering through the maze of medina streets, having a proper place to spread out and decompress is kind of a godsend. The building itself sits in this quiet pocket (well, as quiet as the medina gets), so you’re not dealing with the constant chaos of the main thoroughfares, but you can still hear the call to prayer echoing off the walls in the morning, which – I don’t know – there’s something really special about that.
What I really appreciated was how the staff actually knows the neighborhood. Not just the obvious tourist stuff, but they pointed me toward this little café around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee, and they knew exactly which gate of the medina to use to avoid the crowds when I was heading to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me because it’s not trying to be some fancy international chain – it’s got character, you know? The decor has that authentic Moroccan feel without going overboard with the tourist-y touches. Sure, the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty (this is Morocco, after all), and the hot water takes a minute to kick in, but honestly, those are pretty minor complaints when you’re getting this kind of authentic experience. The location alone is worth it – you’re genuinely living in the medina, not just visiting it from some resort outside the walls. If you want to really feel like you’re in Marrakech instead of just passing through, this place gets it right.

Brilliant location & easy to find. Felt very safe walking at night there. Great to have a balcony & roof terrace. Good to have kitchen facilities. Above all – very helpful staff.
Very good – Olga from Austria – 4 June 2025 (8/10)
The apartment was quite big and had 4 separate beds, all clean, good hot shower. Generally all OK.
What could be improved: We couldn't really keep the windows open because outside was a very very loud street, at night as well.Overall I had a great stay – Douihech from United Kingdom – 22 May 2025 (9/10)
Friendly staff and value for money
What could be improved: A lot of stairsGreat choice – Pablo from Argentina – 22 April 2025 (9/10)

Large apartment with plenty space. Very clean
What could be improved: Pool is at a different locationSuperb – Wiktoria from Poland – 14 February 2025 (9/10)
The location was great, about 10 minutes walk to main spots in the city. The apartment is great value for the money. The staff was amazing- the receptionist helped us with everything we needed. There’s also a shared terrace that has an amazing view that you can see the mountains from. The room had an AC.
What could be improved: Lack of trash bin and hand soap.Comfortable staying with less expectations in cleanliness – Akm from United Kingdom – 4 February 2025 (8/10)
Good location, specious and comfortable staying, good decoration. Recommended.
What could be improved: Cleanliness, wasn’t proper clean before arrival, no cleaning materials was in the flat nor even dustpan or mop, nothing to at all to clean that’s makes flat dirty allover.Good for 2-3 days stay. – Girija from United Kingdom – 3 February 2025 (7/10)
Room was spacious & property was neat. Very good location. 5 mins walk from Bahia Palace & medina. Rooftop Breakfast was good.
What could be improved: Towels were looking messy. Water drainage was not good in shower, so water logging.A comfortable stay in Marrakech – Lascelles from United Kingdom – 9 January 2025 (8/10)
Clean, centrally located, safe and great staff.
What could be improved: Limited equipment to use in the kitchen area.ok for 1 night – Jerry10 from United Kingdom – 2 January 2025 (7/10)
Location was good, but on busy street, handy for drop and pickup though, staff were friendly and changed our room for one with balcony, the room they first offered had no balcony but should have according to room description on booking, breakfast was ok with coffee, tea and orange juice and a good variety of breads and jams, omelette was offered but we dont eat eggs,
What could be improved: Too many beds in room for 2, double bed is small and had 2 single beds taking up all the room but not needed, ok for a family, i would of preferred a wider double bed with a sofa instead of 2 other single beds, there was no pool view or balcony in the first room offered, i did not see a pool there, not that i would of used it in December, there was a cooker but not connected to any gas and there were no pots and pans, shower was good but floor was very slippery when wet, ok for 1 night
