The entrance doesn’t give much away from the street (typical riad style), but step inside and you’re immediately hit with that classic Moroccan courtyard magic. The traditional architecture here is the real deal, with intricate tilework and carved plasterwork that makes you pause and actually look up from your phone for once.

Heart of the Medina

You’re literally in the thick of it here — the medina’s energy is right outside your door, but somehow the riad manages to feel like a peaceful retreat. I mean, couples consistently rate this location highly for good reason. You can walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa in about ten minutes, which means you get the full Marrakech experience without being stuck right in the chaos of the main square. The souks are close enough that you’ll hear the call to prayer and catch whiffs of tagine cooking, but far enough that you can actually get some sleep at night.

The rooms here strike that perfect balance between authentic Moroccan style and modern comfort — you know what I mean, where you feel like you’re staying somewhere genuinely local but you’re not roughing it. Each room has its own character (this isn’t a cookie-cutter hotel situation), and the traditional furnishings actually feel thoughtful rather than touristy. The beds are comfortable enough that you won’t spend your vacation complaining about your back, and there’s decent storage space, which honestly matters more than you think when you’re living out of a suitcase.

Breakfast Worth Waking Up For

Breakfast here is actually impressive — they’ve got options for pretty much everyone, whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, need halal or gluten-free choices. It’s served in the courtyard when weather permits, and there’s something really nice about starting your day with fresh Moroccan bread and mint tea while listening to the city wake up around you. If you’re planning an early day trip (maybe to the Atlas Mountains or Essaouira), they’ll sort you out with breakfast to go, which is one of those small touches that shows they get what travelers actually need.

It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers exactly what most people want from a riad experience — character, comfort, and a real sense of place.

  The Riad and staff are lovely, Lots of thought has gone into making this Riad a comfortable place to stay – from the bedrooms to the terrace, The staff are friendly and make every effort to look after you without being intrusive. The breakfast is delicious and sets you up for the day, the 3 course dinner is good value too, The view over the olive trees is special and makes this Riad unique. As a female solo traveler I felt relatively safe here.

  We loved our stay here. Rooms had a authentic morrocan feel and were nice and clean. We had breakfast included in our stay and were impressed with the amount of food offered within our traditional breakfast.
  We chose to eat at the hotel at night too. Salad and a chicken tagine, followed by a fruit platter,very tasty! This cost us 20 euro each for 3 courses and so worth it. The staff are incredibly helpful and smiley.
  To get to the main markets we chose to use a private taxi which cost around £40 for there and back. There are normal taxis available too for less. A taxi from the hotel to the airport costs around £10.
  Cute little rooftop plunge pool, and small indoor pool available.

  Abdul who manages the property made our experience easy, fun and relaxing, and the property itself is beautiful and clean. An easy 20 minute walk from the city centre and situated overlooking olive groves, it's a gorgeous reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the Medina.
