It’s the kind of moment that makes you forget about your flight home, you know? The rooms themselves feel genuinely lived-in rather than hotel-sterile, with those thick walls that keep things cool during the day (crucial in Marrakech heat, trust me) and beautiful tadelakt plasterwork that catches the light just right. Actually, the whole place has this warmth that comes from being family-run – they’ll sort out your airport transfer, point you toward the best tagine spots that aren’t tourist traps, and somehow always know exactly when you need help navigating back through the medina’s maze of alleys.

The location is pretty brilliant if you want to be in the thick of things but still able to escape when it gets too intense. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa – close enough that you can pop over for the evening craziness with the snake charmers and henna ladies, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise all day. The souks are right there too, which means you can duck back to drop off purchases instead of hauling everything around for hours. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want that authentic medina experience without sacrificing comfort – it’s got that perfect balance of traditional charm and modern amenities that makes an 8.3 rating make complete sense. Just bring comfortable walking shoes and maybe download an offline map app, because even with the best directions, you’ll probably get turned around in these ancient streets at least once.
