You know what? I’ve stayed in plenty of riads around Marrakech, but this place on Rue Er Rif really got it right. The name’s a mouthful – Riad Élégant et Convivial, Piscine Chauffée & Spa – but honestly, it delivers on every part of that promise. When you first walk through those heavy wooden doors (and trust me, you’ll need the address because these old medina streets all look similar), you’re hit with this incredible sense of calm that’s hard to find in the bustling souks just minutes away.

The heated pool is actually what sold me initially – I mean, Marrakech can get surprisingly chilly in the evenings, especially during winter months, and there’s nothing worse than a beautiful riad pool you can’t use. But beyond that, the whole setup here feels thoughtfully designed for both families and couples, which is tricky to pull off. The staff really knows their stuff too; they’ll sort out your airport transfer without the usual haggling drama, and they actually give useful restaurant recommendations instead of just steering you toward tourist traps near Jemaa el-Fnaa.

What really impressed me though was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic riad atmosphere while making everything actually functional. The rooms have proper AC (essential in summer), the wifi reaches everywhere including the rooftop terrace, and – this might sound silly but it matters – the showers have decent water pressure. The spa treatments are legit too, not just some afterthought thrown in for the listing. I had a hammam session that left me feeling like I’d melted into the beautiful zellige tiles. The location works perfectly because you’re tucked away enough to escape the constant noise of scooters and donkey carts, but you can still walk to the main attractions without needing a taxi. Actually, the rooftop views toward the Atlas Mountains are pretty spectacular at sunset, especially with a mint tea in hand. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay – which I definitely did – because it strikes that perfect balance between authentic Moroccan experience and genuine comfort.

  This place was a very nice place to stay in Marrakech. The house with three bedrooms is huge, very comfortable and has all the commodities you may need. If you don't mind paying a few euros to go everyday to the Medina and negotiate price with taxis everyday, this is the place. Being away from all the Medina carnaval at night and coming to this peaceful place was the best thing we could have after a full day in Marrakech. Julien was very nice and responsive when I asked for informations and the ladies working there were very nice and respectful. The house was amazingly cleaned everyday. There are supermarkets and fruit stores very close by. Everyone was very polite and nice. We have searched for restaurants in the block and there's quite a few.
  There's a restaurant with breakfasts 1 min from the house, very close by called BabaJus and we were delighted to have this place nearby.
  We had a very nice time in Marrakech and I think this place definitely contributed to that.

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Every single team member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely dedicated to providing great service.
  
  The apartment itself was spotless, stylishly furnished, and had everything I needed for a relaxing holiday. The location was perfect close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet at night.
  
  What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the incredible team. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect holiday getaway!
