Riad Enchanté Overview
You know what hit me first walking into Riad Enchanté? The silence. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, but once you slip through that heavy wooden door on Derb Abib Allah, it’s like someone hit the mute button on Marrakech. The courtyard opens up with this gorgeous fountain in the center – not some over-the-top Vegas thing, just authentic Moroccan tilework that catches the light beautifully. I actually spent way too much time just sitting there with my morning coffee, watching the patterns shift as the sun moved across the sky.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying in the real medina without completely losing your mind trying to navigate it. Derb Abib Allah is one of those narrow alleys that looks intimidating on Google Maps but is actually pretty straightforward once you walk it a couple times. The riad staff will meet you at the main street if you’re worried about finding it (which I’d recommend for your first arrival – even seasoned travelers get turned around in this neighborhood). What I loved is that you’re close enough to hear the evening call to prayer from the nearby mosque, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with constant noise from the souks. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you experience how the staff anticipates what you need – they had my mint tea preference figured out by day two, and somehow always knew exactly when I’d want fresh towels without me having to ask.
The rooms themselves feel authentic without being uncomfortable – I mean, you’re not going to find a huge flat-screen TV or marble bathroom, but the traditional furnishings are genuinely beautiful and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The rooftop terrace is where this place really shines though. Most riads have rooftop access, but this one has views that actually matter – you can see the Koutoubia minaret perfectly, and during sunset the whole medina turns this incredible golden color. I ended up eating dinner up there most nights instead of wandering around looking for restaurants. Fair warning though – if you’re here during peak season (March through May), book that terrace time early because other guests figure out pretty quickly that it’s the best spot in the house. The only minor downside is that the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms, but honestly, that might be exactly what you need if you’re trying to disconnect from everything back home.

Staffs were great too very kind and friendly.Charming like a magic carpet – Rey from Germany – 30 May 2025 (10/10)
Hicham, Khalid and the women at the Riad made our stay like we were in a 5 star hotel. They are like your 24/7 butlers and they are always ready to help and they ask you proactively if everything is okay and if you need anything else. i would book again if ever I would be back in Marrakech.
Nice and relaxing riad – Mariana from Portugal – 28 April 2025 (9/10)
We loved the staff, they were very attentive and gave us great tips. The breakfast was also amazing and the jacuzzi was nice after a long day of walking. Good central location.
What could be improved: There was a bit of a problem with the water plumbing in the bathroom but the staff did their best to resolve it in the best way. The reviews about the sound isolation were true but it seems to be the case everywhere and it wasn't that disturbing.Amazing and fabulous stay in Raid Enchanté – Rosa from Italy – 30 March 2025 (10/10)
Excellent experience for three days trip in Marrakech. Strategic location (closed to Bacha Coffe and Café Arabe), comfortable service and rooms, excellent staff, fresh and homemade breakfast changing everyday upon your preferences…and an amazing jacuzzi on the rooftop for relaxing during the stay.

Our amazing stay at Riad Enchante – Laura from United Kingdom – 11 March 2025 (10/10)
We had an amazing stay at Riad Enchante. The staff were great and extremely attentive – always happy to help out or share any recommendations. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was very tasty. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great – although the Riad is located right in the heart of Marrakesh it is very quiet and peaceful once you're inside. It has a great rooftop terrace, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. We were able to leave our luggage at the property prior to check in and after check out, which helped out massively. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and we were given fresh towels each day. Shower gel, shampoo and soap was topped up daily and the Riad also provides you with bottled water, bath robes and cotton pads/ buds. The Riad can also help you with arranging pick up and drop off from the airport – we used this on departure. This service required an additional payment of approximately €20 but was well worth the price. We didn't leave for the airport till about 4 pm but were able to relax at the property until then and were offered tea and coffee – this once again shows that the staff goes above and beyond to offer the best service they can.
What could be improved: We loved everything about our stay and would come back in a heartbeat! I know that some people have mentioned that they struggled to find the Riad but we didn't encounter this difficulty. Once you locate Derb Abib Allah all you need to do is follow the alley and the signs for Riad Enchante. We also felt safe walking down the alley as it was well lit.Great breakfast, views and staff! – Cassidy from United States – 26 February 2025 (10/10)
Riad Enchante is the perfect stay for Marrakech. It's located off of an alley right in the medina. The staff is so friendly and amazing. They're there to give you insights to make your vacation effortless — mint tea when you need it, can book airport transfers, give great recommendations, etc. An overall friendly and felt-like-home environment.
Breakfast on the rooftop each morning was incredible: a mix of fresh orange juice, pastries, eggs, etc. The hottub is a plus. Would absolutely recommend this stay!Exceptional – Waleed from United Kingdom – 16 February 2025 (10/10)
Our stay at Riad Enchanté was absolutely wonderful—it truly felt like home! The riad beautifully blends traditional charm with modern comfort, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Khalid, Omar, and Esham were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the souk and key tourist attractions. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay at this Riad, we will be visiting again. – Nirmita from India – 15 February 2025 (9/10)
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the service here. Khaled was great and organised our day trip for us before we even moved into the Riad. Breakfast was amazing and I loved the extra servings of mint tea and pastries 🥮. We will definitely choose this Riad the next time we visit Marrakech
What could be improved: The lights in the bedroom were a bit dull. If that can be fixed, the property is a 10/10
