Riad Ines Home Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of riads in Marrakech, and Riad Ines Home just gets it right in a way that’s honestly hard to find. It’s tucked away on Derb Tizougarine – which, fair warning, you’ll never find on your first try even with GPS because these medina streets have their own logic – but that’s actually part of what makes it special. The narrow alleyway means you’re properly hidden from the tourist chaos, yet you’re still close enough to hear the evening call to prayer echoing off the walls.
The moment you step through that heavy wooden door (and I mean heavy – it’s like entering a fortress), everything just… shifts. The courtyard hits you first – this gorgeous central space with traditional zellij tilework that catches the light differently throughout the day. I spent way too many mornings just sitting there with mint tea, watching the patterns change as the sun moved overhead. The rooms wrap around this courtyard, and honestly, each one feels like its own little sanctuary. The traditional Moroccan touches are there – carved plasterwork, rich textiles, those impossibly comfortable floor cushions – but it doesn’t feel like a museum. You know what I mean? It’s lived-in and warm, not just Instagram-pretty.
What really sold me on this place was the staff’s knowledge of the neighborhood. They don’t just give you a tourist map and send you off – they’ll tell you which hammam is actually good (not the touristy one everyone goes to), where to find the best tagines that locals eat, and honestly, how to navigate the souks without getting completely turned around. The breakfast spread is solid too, though you’ll want to eat it early before the courtyard gets too warm – Morocco doesn’t mess around with its sunshine. The only minor thing is that the Wi-Fi can be spotty in some rooms, but let’s be real, you didn’t come to Marrakech to scroll through emails anyway. At night, when the medina settles down and you can hear the fountain in the courtyard, it’s the kind of peaceful that makes you understand why people fall in love with this city. For the price point and that 9-star rating, Riad Ines Home delivers something you can’t fake – authentic Moroccan hospitality without the tourist theater.

Beautiful building in a great location. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.
What could be improved: Nothing to dislike.Exceptional – Gandelli from Italy – 28 April 2025 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Riad in Marrakech. The rooms are charming, traditionally decorated, and equipped with every comfort. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfasts were delicious, with fresh and tasty local specialties. We also had dinner at their restaurant one evening and it was phenomenal — the tajine was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!

Quiet, comfortable, well located at a good price.
We really enjoyed our 6 night stay. Riad Ines was a happy place. The staff, especially Medgda(?) and Younis, the two who spoke the most English, were always happy, smiling, and very helpful.
Definitely happy to recommend Riad Ines Home to anyone considering staying here. 👍Recommended, charming and authentic experience – James from United Kingdom – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
Very peaceful and charming, staff were friendly and helpful, lots of places to relax, in shade and sun! The room was stunning, and had everything you could need. I specifically requested the room I had at point of booking as I knew it was away from the courtyard (where they serve breakfast), on an upper floor. The bath is insanely huge and luxurious.
What could be improved: Breakfast variety, having to pay for incidental charges in cash at the end of the stay (not sure why as they have a card machine)…they should offer Shisha in flavours other than ‘original’ tobacco. As noted in a couple of other reviews, there are unsavoury men that linger the streets by the Riad who will try to illicit money from you for providing directions; I felt unsafe as a result on my arrival and gave them the only cash I had in my wallet (a £20 note) to make them go away. It would be useful for the Riad to let visitors know of this in advance.Superb – Foteini from Greece – 2 March 2025 (9/10)
This Riad is beautiful and tasteful. The location is perfect. Close enough to everything in the Medina but so unbelievably quiet and serene.
I would definitely recommend this Riad I Loved it, so Welcoming so homely Interior is Hevanly Beauti – Gary from Ireland – 1 February 2025 (10/10)
Breakfast was basic bth I'm not a real bread person but that's all that was given for Breakfast 3 types of bread a tea and coffee. Riad/Hotel is Amazing cannot fault it, workers are Amazing too Loved my stay here
What could be improved: Breakfast could have been changed up a bit more instead of same every morning, What I txt next isn't what riad ines can do But the lane ways need to be patrolled more by police coz some unsavoury men hanging around lanesBeautiful place with very nice staff – Anna from Sweden – 1 January 2025 (10/10)
Very kind staff and fantastic riad to stay in. The location is just around the corner of the médina but still off, so it's calm at night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will hopefully return soon. Thank for your hospitality.
