Riad JEREMY Overview
You know what? I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first walked down Derb Charij – these narrow medina streets can be pretty hit or miss when it comes to riads. But honestly, Riad Jeremy surprised me in the best way possible. The whole Riad Moukha quarter is actually one of the quieter pockets of the medina, which means you’re still smack in the middle of everything but without the constant drum circles and motorbike chaos that can drive you crazy in some areas.
The place itself has this really authentic feel without being stuffy about it. I mean, sure, it’s got all the traditional riad elements – the central courtyard, the beautiful tiles, that gorgeous fountain sound that somehow makes everything feel cooler – but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about how it’s all put together. The staff actually remembers your name (not just pretending to), and they’ll give you proper directions to places instead of just pointing vaguely toward “the souks.” The breakfast situation is solid too – they serve it up on the rooftop terrace where you can actually see the Atlas Mountains on clear days, and the mint tea is strong enough to wake you up after those late nights exploring Jemaa el-Fnaa.
What really sold me on this place was the location – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the main square, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. No kidding, some riads closer to the action can be pretty brutal when you’re trying to wind down. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Marrakech, but everything just works. The Wi-Fi is decent (important if you need to upload those sunset photos), the rooms stay cool even in summer, and honestly, the whole vibe feels like staying at a friend’s place – if your friend happened to own a gorgeous 4-star riad in Morocco. Plus, the neighborhood has some really great little cafés and shops that most tourists never find because they’re too busy getting lost in the main tourist corridors.

Excellent riad and wonderful host – James from United Kingdom – 4 April 2025 (10/10)
A lovely riad, peaceful and quiet, just minutes from the Medina. Clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Will return and recommend. Fatima the host makes all the difference, nothing was too much for her, thank you.
Ssssh….hidden secret 🤫 – Angela from United Kingdom – 11 February 2025 (10/10)
Small and intimate Riad in very quiet area but near enough to walk to the main attractions In Marrakech. It was lovely to get away from the noise of the city and grab some winter sunshine and relaxation.
Hakima and Fatima were the kindest and friendliest of hosts. Even with my school French we managed to get by and had a giggle. They helped with booking taxis and answered any question we had. Michel was very helpful before our stay too.
The Riad was spotlessly clean and breakfast yummy.

Michel, Hakima and Fatima are incredible. They took care of my friend and I so well, they're so attentive and generous. Room was beautiful and clean, such a relaxing place to stay in. They helped us with taxis and excursions and I can't wait to go back, just to see them!

Overall good experience, can't pick anything in particular that stood out.
What could be improved: Holy hell was it hard to find the first time, luckily a local helped us get there. They really need to improve their instructions. Staff were lovely but one couldn't speak English, which made communicating difficult half the time.Welcoming, perfect little riad with helpful staff in ideal location. – Selina from United Kingdom – 20 November 2024 (9/10)
The staff were wonderful, so helpful and kind, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the roof terrace and the area was great. Easy access to everything.

Fatima (our host) was amazing and exceptional! She was available for our early check in, provided us with all the needed information, and helped us with the taxi to the airport.
Our breakfeast was made with love, she was kindly responding to our additional requests and served us with the nicest smile.
We cannot thank Fatima enough for the way she has welcomed us to Marraquexe!Superb – Vicente from Portugal – 4 May 2024 (9/10)
Our host Fatima was extremely nice and helpful. On our first day she showed us how to get from the riad to jemaa el fna. Lovely and comfortable riad. Great location, it's not even 10 minutes away from jemaa el fna but it's super quiet
What could be improved: Pool didn't seem clean. Wifi was badPerfect location for a short visit to Marrakesh – Keith from United Kingdom – 6 April 2024 (8/10)
