The spa part isn’t just marketing fluff, which was a pleasant surprise. I mean, half the riads in the medina claim to have spas these days, but this one’s got the real deal – proper treatment rooms, skilled therapists, and honestly, after a day of navigating the souks (which are about a 10-minute walk away, though the hotel staff will tell you it’s five… it’s not), you’ll want that hammam experience. The whole place has this calm, residential feel that’s actually pretty rare in Marrakech hotels. Most are either right in the chaos of the medina or way out in the new city, but this spot in Laarissa – it’s like finding that sweet spot where you can sleep without hearing scooters at 6 AM, but you’re not taking expensive taxis everywhere.

What really got me was the attention to detail that you only notice after staying a few days. The courtyard has actual shade in the afternoon (crucial in summer, trust me), the WiFi works in all the rooms – not just the lobby like so many places – and the breakfast setup changes slightly each day without being showy about it. The staff genuinely knows the city too, not just the tourist spots. When I asked about finding a good pharmacy, they directed me to one three blocks away where locals actually go, not the overpriced one near Jemaa el-Fnaa. Small thing, but it matters when you’re dealing with travel stomach issues, you know? The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be La Mamounia, but it’s doing its own thing really well. That 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days; it’s the kind of place where everything just… works. Check-in was smooth, the room was ready early, and when the AC started making weird noises on day two, they had someone up to fix it within an hour. I’d honestly stay there again, especially if I wanted to feel like I was staying in Marrakech rather than just visiting it.

  Amazingly kind staff, everyone took great care of us and they are really working hard to make customers happy. Every request we had was taken care of with a smile.
  The villa is beautiful and near the Jardin Majorelle (about 10 minutes on foot), which was convenient to us since we wanted to visit it and we had stayed in another riad previously to see the medina. If you want to be closer to the old part of Marrakech maybe this isn't the best choice, otherwise I would definitely recommend it.
  Plus, dinner was really good with big servings (even though a bit expensive).
  
  What could be improved: The mattress I had was very, very hard and a bit uncomfortable (we were three and the standard double bed was ok).
  We found a good deal on Booking so the quality/price ratio was great, otherwise it would have been a bit expensive overall.

  Amazing interior, peaceful and beautiful, feels very authentic. Every detail in the riad is beautiful, the hosts were very kind and the breakfast was good. I discovered msemen here and loved it!

  Pool is amazing, rooms are cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast was really good.

  We had a lovely stay in the Riad. We got a warm welcome with a cup of tea. The Riad is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The Riad is located in a quiet and safe place close to the Jardin Majorelle and it‘s easy to get a taxi to the old Medina. There is space to park your own car in front of the Riad. The pool is very nice, it has nice deck chairs and you can find towels for the pool. Everything was perfect!
