You know what really struck me about Riad Noureddine? It’s one of those places that feels like you’ve stumbled onto something special without trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect. The riad sits just inside the medina walls near Bab Lekhmiss – and honestly, that location is pretty brilliant because you’re close enough to dive into the chaos of the souks, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you can actually hear yourself think at night.

The whole place has this authentic lived-in feel that a lot of the fancier riads seem to miss. I mean, don’t get me wrong – it’s definitely polished and well-maintained (those 4 stars aren’t just for show), but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it. The traditional tilework in the courtyard has these beautiful imperfections that remind you actual craftspeople made this stuff by hand, and the rooftop terrace gives you glimpses of the Atlas Mountains when the morning light hits just right. The staff here actually knows the neighborhood – like, really knows it. They’ll point you toward the little bakery around the corner where locals grab their morning bread, or tell you which entrance to use for the Jemaa el-Fnaa when it’s less crowded (spoiler: early morning or late afternoon).

What I really appreciated was how they handle the practical stuff without making a big deal about it. Check-in was smooth, the rooms stay surprisingly cool even when it’s blazing outside, and – this matters more than you’d think – the hot water actually works consistently. The traditional Moroccan breakfast they serve in the courtyard is the real deal too, not some watered-down tourist version. Plus, if you’re worried about navigating the medina’s maze-like streets, the riad is actually pretty easy to find once you know the Route des Remparts reference point. Taxi drivers know the area, and it’s close enough to Bab Lekhmiss that you won’t be wandering around with your luggage looking lost. The whole vibe just works – it’s got that authentic riad atmosphere with the central courtyard and traditional architecture, but without feeling like you’re staying in a museum. You’ll hear the call to prayer echoing off the walls in the early morning, catch whiffs of tagines cooking from nearby houses, and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the fountain in the courtyard rather than traffic noise.

  Everything, the host was amazingly kind and helpful and couldn't do enough for us, the riad was spacious and clean, the breakfast you can purchase was lovely and you got a lot. There are some restaurants in the complex and a little shop that charge you amazingly good prices and don't try to rip you off, there is even a pharmacy. Will definitely be using again.

  Nasz pobyt w tym obiekcie był bardzo dobry! Wszystko było zgodne z opisem. Dom był przestronny, czysty i komfortowy. Personel był bardzo przyjazny i pomocny. Lokalizacja obiektu idealna – blisko głównych atrakcji turystycznych, ale jednocześnie w spokojnej okolicy. Polecam obiekt.

  The host Hanan is super nice, easily available, very service minded and cared a lot about us. The restaurant and the small shops in the residence are very appreciated. we had breakfast there, very decent prices. Area for safe, quiet and close to the city/Medina. We could gym around the quiet pool too.
  
  What could be improved: It was unfortunate that heavy (unusual) rain did damage networks the week before our arrival; hence we could not have wifi during our stay (pb for the kids as the had not SIM cards at all during our stay ; but it was like that in the whole residence, so not something that future customers should worry too much about. the most negative thing we experienced was so smell coming from the bathrooms (connected to rain?); some bedsheets are coming "end of life". But again, I strongly recommend this place, its pool and the host!!

  Nu am cuvinte sa descriu cat de mult mi-a placut aceasta locatie, totul a fost peste asteptarile mele. Locatia este bine amplasata, ai tot ce ai nevoie in jur, magazine, restaurante, ATM. In acelasi timp este un loc plin de liniste , de cum am intrat am simtit caldura si vibe-ul perfect pentru o vacanta. Totul este foarte curat si bine pregatit pentru orice nevoie ai avea.

  Excellent house with everything you could think of you might need.
  Shops and restaurants within a 2 min walk from accommodation which came in handy with 4 kids.
  Local grocery store for those extras you might need. Swimming pool was a bones.
  House was comfortable and cool. Best sleep I had all summer.
  All rooms came with ensuits which was handy.

  The riad is beautiful and roomy. All usual facilities and more besides. The beds are comfy with aircon in each room.
  
  What could be improved: The sunbeds around the pool are awful metalwork construction and the most uncomfortable thing ever.

  A great place to stay! A really homely Moroccan style apartment, with three bedrooms, kitchen and living area. It's in a quiet complex, which was great to come back to after a busy day in Marrakech. There is security around the complex and cafes, restaurants, and a little supermarket all inside the area. Happy to recommend!
