The central courtyard is where you’ll probably end up spending most of your time though, especially in the mornings with coffee or late afternoons when the light hits just right. There’s something about riads and their courtyards that just works, you know? The fountain creates this gentle background noise that somehow makes everything feel more peaceful. I should mention the rooftop terrace too – you can see the Atlas Mountains on clear days, and the sunset views over the medina are honestly pretty spectacular.

What I really appreciate is how the owners have managed to keep the authentic Moroccan feel while making sure everything actually works properly. The hot water is reliable (trust me, this matters), the Wi-Fi reaches all the rooms, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train. The location means you’re close enough to walk to the souks, Bahia Palace, and all the main sites, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you’re not dealing with constant noise. Fair warning though – like most medina properties, getting here with luggage can be tricky since cars can’t reach the door. The narrow alleys are part of the charm, but plan accordingly. That 9.4 rating makes total sense when you factor in the genuine hospitality, the attention to detail in the restoration, and the fact that you’re getting a pretty authentic Marrakech experience without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of place where you might actually want to hang out during the heat of the day instead of just crashing there at night.
