Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Rooftop centre ville jacuzzi,” I wasn’t sure what to expect. It sounds a bit like someone just threw together the best selling points, you know? But actually walking into this place on Avenue du Colonel Gazeille completely changed my perspective. The location is pretty brilliant if you know Marrakech at all – you’re right in Gueliz, which means you get that modern Moroccan vibe without being stuck in the tourist chaos of the medina. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the old city is amazing, but sometimes you want to grab a coffee without negotiating through three carpet sellers first.

The rooftop situation is genuinely impressive, and I’m not just saying that because it’s in the name. When you’re up there in the evening – especially around sunset – you get this incredible view over the city that makes you understand why everyone raves about Marrakech’s skyline. The jacuzzi isn’t huge, but it’s perfectly decent for a couple or small group, and honestly, after walking around the souks all day, sinking into warm water while watching the Atlas Mountains in the distance is pretty much perfect. The whole rooftop area has this relaxed energy that I really appreciated. During my stay in October, it was busy but not overwhelmingly so – you could actually have a conversation without shouting.

What really sold me on this place though was how it strikes this balance between being polished enough to feel like a proper 4-star experience (the 8.5 rating makes total sense) while still having personality. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure you knew your way around the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this amazing little pastry shop on Rue Mohamed Lakhssim that I never would have found otherwise. The rooms themselves are well-designed, though I’d mention that if you’re a super light sleeper, you might want to pack earplugs since Gueliz can get a bit lively at night. It’s not crazy loud, but there’s definitely street life happening below. Check-in was smooth, and they actually had decent recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. The whole experience felt like staying somewhere that locals might actually recommend to their friends visiting from out of town, which is honestly the best compliment I can give any hotel.

  This place never disappointed me, the avenue is so calm the train station down town and plus free parking, two air conditioners the rooftop is so amazing the neighborhood is beautiful, one of hided gems in downtown!

  Shaima did all the arrangements for my partner’s Birthday surprise. It was really nice and more than what i expected. Everything was properly organised and shaima was really helpful.

  We only stayed two nights, but could stay longer as it had everything we needed. The flat is a bit far from the Medina, but we appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle. Easy to find and communicate with the host if we needed anything or had questions. Overall, it was a great experience.

  Due to flight delay our arrival was very late and we really appriciated that everything was arranged in a way that our late arrival was not a problem. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and wifi was perfect. Great location also with a family friendly restoran Beldi Fusion Kitchen in a few min walking distance away and an ATM around the corner.

  I loved the decor , the little amenities left by the host and the little courtyard was amazing. The bed was really comfortable with great linen and the hosts were really friendly and accommodating!
