Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Royal Deluxe Platinum on Route de Casablanca, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone (sounds a bit over-the-top, right?). But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The Pearl Garden complex is tucked away from the main road chaos, which means you get that peaceful vibe without being stuck in the middle of nowhere. You’re still close enough to hear the city humming in the distance, but far enough that you can actually sleep without earplugs.

The apartment itself – yeah, it’s technically an apartment setup on the second floor, not your typical hotel room – has this killer pool view that makes the whole experience. I mean, you wake up and there’s this gorgeous pool area spread out below, with actual palm trees (not the sad, struggling ones you sometimes see) and people lounging around looking properly relaxed. The space feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than a sterile hotel room. There’s a proper kitchen if you want to grab stuff from the local markets – and honestly, the produce in Marrakech is incredible, so you’d be missing out if you don’t at least try some fresh oranges or dates. The apartment has that modern Moroccan touch without going overboard on the tourist-y décor, which I appreciated.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even during peak season. I was there in March when things get busy, and while the pool area had its social moments during the day, evenings were surprisingly peaceful. The other guests seemed to be a mix of couples and small families, not the party crowd you might worry about. Parking was straightforward – there’s space in the complex, which is honestly a blessing because navigating Marrakech’s streets with a rental car can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you add it all up – great location for exploring the medina (about 15 minutes by taxi), solid amenities, and the kind of comfortable setup where you can actually unwind after a day of wandering through souks and getting delightfully lost in the old city. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between luxury and authenticity, without paying resort prices, this place hits the mark.

  What could be improved: They stopped me from going home, even though I paid money and everything. The reason why is I had a guest and I didn't tell them this and that's a lie. I told them TWO DAYS before I came that there was a guest with me and to send this guest's national card, I had to meet him first, so after all this, when we met and I wanted to tell them about the guest, I didn't get any answers from them, I was prevented from going and I didn't get my money back from them, and that's my right.

  Needless to say, the view from the balcony on the pool and nicely kept garden. We used the pool a lot and had a good time. The apartment h as d s as good size for us (family with 2 under 10year old kids)
  
  What could be improved: Due to the building construction, it was a bit noisy (doors, and steps from neighbors).
  Also there are a lot of cameras on the facility, so you feel Kind odd of watched. Could be a good thing regarding safety or bad thing as mentioned
