It’s on the second floor of this unassuming building, but that’s actually part of its charm – you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautifully renovated home rather than some cookie-cutter hotel.

The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of… well, authenticity isn’t too strong a word. The owners have managed to blend traditional Moroccan touches with genuine comfort, and I’m talking about the kind of details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The tiles are cool under your feet in the morning, the lighting is warm without being dim, and – this might sound weird – but the place smells right. Not like cleaning products or artificial jasmine, just that clean, lived-in scent that good homes have. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not constantly bumping into your luggage, and the beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many riads skimp on mattresses). What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – Avenue Prince Moulay Abdellah can be busy during the day, but by evening it settles down, and you can actually sleep without earplugs.

The location works in your favor too, though you might not realize it immediately. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk from the medina’s chaos, which means you get the best of both worlds – easy access to the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa when you want that full Marrakech experience, but also a peaceful retreat when the sensory overload gets to be too much. There’s a decent café called Café Noun just around the corner where locals actually hang out (not just tourists), and the CTM bus station is close enough that you can easily catch transport to other cities if you’re planning day trips. Parking can be tricky if you’re renting a car – the street spaces fill up fast – but the staff knows the area well enough to point you toward reliable spots. I stayed there during shoulder season in March, and honestly, I can’t imagine wanting to be anywhere else in the city. The 9.2 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay.

  La atención de Hakim fue excepcional. Una semana antes estuvimos en contacto para aclarar dudas que tenía, estuvo siempre pendiente. Una vez que llegamos, nos escribió y ya estaba esperándonos en el apartamento, nos explicó todo y se ofreció a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos. El piso es perfecto, a 9 minutos en taxi del centro de la Medina. Tiene dos habitaciones y un gran salón con sofás super cómodos. La ducha funciona a la perfección, incluso nos bañamos varias personas seguidas y no dejó de salir agua caliente. Había suficientes mantas y edredones para todos y estuvimos muy cómodos durante la noche, aunque en la casa en general no hace frío. Además, tiene una cocina equipada y una tv con Netflix y demás.
  
  Sin duda repetiría. Me pareció una opción perfecta en cuanto a calidad precio y la atención fue muy muy buena. De hecho, incluso nos hicieron el favor de imprimirnos los billetes de avión!!! Súper majos!.

  To start with, our host Gheddi has been amazing from the moment we arrived, he made us feel right at home. He was super attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. The place was just as described, safe and lots of good places to eat all walking distance from the apartment. Not to mention McDonalds is just 5 minutes walk away :-). lots of convenient stores across the road if you need anything. Gheddi went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His hospitality really stood out, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will highly recommend to my family and friends. We loved our stay.
