Sojori premium vue Majorelle Overview
You know what struck me first about Sojori Premium Vue Majorelle? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – and honestly, that’s rarer than you’d think with hotels in Marrakech. Sitting right on Rue Yves Saint Laurent, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Majorelle Garden entrance, which means you can slip in right when it opens at 8 AM before the tour groups descend. I mean, everyone talks about beating the crowds there, but most hotels require a taxi ride and the whole coordination thing. Here, you just… walk over with your morning coffee.
The building itself feels like someone took a traditional riad concept and gave it some breathing room – there’s this lovely courtyard space that doesn’t feel cramped like so many places in the medina. Actually, being in Gueliz (the newer part of town) means you get proper wide streets and, thank god, easier taxi access. The rooms have this clean, modern Moroccan thing going on without being too precious about it. Big windows, decent air conditioning that actually works – crucial detail in summer – and bathrooms where you don’t have to do gymnastics to shower. The “vue” part of the name pays off too; upper floor rooms give you glimpses of the Atlas Mountains on clear days, though honestly, the courtyard-facing ones are quieter if you’re sensitive to street noise.
What really won me over though was how the staff handles the little things. They’ll arrange your Majorelle Garden tickets in advance (saves you standing in that ridiculous line), and the front desk guy – I think his name was Youssef – actually gave me proper directions to the Berber Museum that didn’t involve getting lost in the souk maze. The breakfast spread is solid without being overwhelming, and they serve it until 10:30, which is perfect when you’re on vacation time. Location-wise, you’re sort of in this sweet spot where you can walk to YSL Museum, catch a taxi to Jemaa el-Fnaa in about 10 minutes, but still get actual sleep at night because you’re not in the middle of the medina chaos. I’ll be honest, parking can be a bit tricky if you’re renting a car – it’s street parking mostly – but there’s a guarded lot about a block away that locals use. The whole area feels safe for evening walks, and there’s a decent café right across the street where you can grab mint tea and watch Marrakech life happen. For a 4-star place, it punches above its weight, especially considering that 9.5 rating isn’t just marketing fluff – it actually delivers on being a smart base for exploring the city without the tourist trap markup.

Reviews of Sojori premium vue Majorelle
Very spacious, modern apartment with everything you might need for a stay in Marrakech. And a nice swimming pool also! – Pete from United Kingdom – 2 July 2025 (9/10)
Very clean, everything looked brand new. Nice swimming pool that had some shade for a good part of the day (needed when it was 46 degrees during our visit). Spacious apartment with everything we needed for a few nights in Marrakech. Right beside the Jardin Majorelle and very easy to get taxis to anywhere else in the city. Carrefour within walking distance also. Felt safe when walking around outside in the evening – haven’t felt worried anywhere in Morocco though.
Riad (the host) was very attentive whenever we had any questions to ask and did his best to help us.
What could be improved: Air con could have been better, but in fairness, it was exceptionally hot when we were there so I suspect most other times it would be fine. At night time, when the temperature dropped to just below 40 deg C, the air con actually did a good job.Superb – Sara from Italy – 18 June 2025 (9/10)
La grandezza dell’appartamento e la posizione, ideale per un po’ di tranquillità non lontano dal centro vitale di Marrakech.
Exceptional – Muhammad from Ireland – 17 June 2025 (10/10)

the location , the cleanliness, the host , every thing was perfect
What could be improved: nothingPerfect place to stay if you want your privacy and comfort of your own home – Anshuman from United Kingdom – 22 April 2025 (9/10)
1. The host was amazing, superb and great!
2. The pillows and bed was extra firm , just to our liking and we had great sleeps
3. The AC worked perfectly to keep the flat cool
4. The property was clean and tidy
5. The Property had enough wardrobe for clothes
6. The balcony was overlooking the majorelle and YSL museum
7. The Flat was secure
What could be improved: 1. The shower door on the main bathroom is very tricky to open, it gets stuck easily and I believe other travellers has raised concerns on that too.
2. The in-suite bathroom hand shower is at its last leg, 2 out of 5 lights are out (it was initially 3 but the Abdullahey changed one), but the way they are placed means you still have lot of shadows, so doing make up or shave could be tricky if not all of them are working.
3. The fridge was broken, and it needs replacing. Host has assured it will be replaced.
4. The flat needs some kid friendly crockery, plastic plates, and cups, spoons.
5. The in-suite bathroom is missing a waste bin
6. The Iron was burnt so needs cleaningExceptional – Himankar from Japan – 8 April 2025 (10/10)
The location was very good. Close enough to medina.
Exceptional – Marc from France – 7 April 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: séjour trop court….We spent a week on this trip. Five days would have been sufficient. Better NOT to go during Ramadan. – Joan from France – 24 March 2025 (5/10)
The location was convenient, close to taxi services which were excellent. Riad & Ahmed who met us at the airport and also took us for our return flight were superb, friendly, helpful. The location was quiet. It was, after all, Ramadan so everything closed by sunset.
What could be improved: The kitchen was a huge disappointment. Since it was Ramadan, we ate most meals in since restaurants were closed. No toaster, no dish washer, no paper towels. The garbage bin was half full of earlier guests garbage – not good. No advice was given as to where to take empty bottles, plastic or the garbage bags – inconvenient.
We had 2 bathrooms, NO hair dryer! The door on the shower stall was jammed – had to use the bathroom with the tub – not handy/safe for me with a bad back problem.
We are not particularly fond of the "bargaining" mentality in the souks. The motorbikes rushing through the souks were even worse, ought to be forbidden – stressful, noisy, smelly. How could one possibly smell the herbs/spices?!Nice clean modern apartment. – Gordon from United Kingdom – 7 February 2025 (10/10)
Simple and smart apartment in a nice corner of Marrakesh. Host greeted us on the entry to the car park and made sure everything was perfect. Ideal place to stay if you are renting a car on arrival but dont want to head straight out to explore.
What could be improved: Only advisory for people who don't like noise is that you can hear the buzz from some air exchange system. It bothered me a bit, but my partner did not notice it at all.An excellent place to stay in Marrakech – Qianhong from United Kingdom – 9 January 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and just a few steps from Jardin Majorelle. The home owner is very welcoming and provided us with biscuits and tea. The three nights here gave us a great experience.
