Sol Oasis Marrakech – All Inclusive Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Sol Oasis Marrakech, I wasn’t expecting much from the location. It’s tucked away in Douar Ben Rahmoun, which honestly feels like you’re heading into the middle of nowhere until you actually get there. But that’s kind of the point, you know? You’re far enough from the medina chaos (about 20 minutes by taxi) to actually relax, but close enough that you’re not stuck at the resort if you want to explore.
The all-inclusive setup here actually works, and I say that as someone who’s usually skeptical of these places. The main pool area gets pretty lively during the day – families with kids, couples lounging around – but there’s this quieter section near the back where you can escape if you need to. The food surprised me too; sure, it’s buffet style, but they’ve got this guy making fresh tagines that are honestly better than some of the touristy places in the city. The breakfast spread is solid – proper coffee (not that instant stuff), fresh pastries, and they do these little pancakes that my kids were obsessed with.
What really sold me on this place was the staff, though. The front desk crew remembers your name after day two, and the pool bar guys – especially this one guy Hassan – they’ll chat with you about local football and slip you insider tips about which hammams in town are worth visiting. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – clean, AC that actually works (crucial in summer), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back. The balcony views vary depending on where they put you, but even the garden-facing ones are pleasant with all the palm trees and bougainvillea.
The only real downside? If you’re planning to hit the souks every day, the taxi situation can get a bit pricey. The hotel arranges transport, but you’re looking at around 80-100 dirhams each way. I mean, it’s not breaking the bank, but it adds up. Also, the evening entertainment is… well, let’s just say it’s very family-friendly, if you catch my drift. But honestly, after a day of exploring Marrakech’s intensity – the heat, the crowds, the constant haggling – coming back to this little oasis (pun intended) felt perfect. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Morocco, but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises.

Reviews of Sol Oasis Marrakech – All Inclusive
Exceptional – Kenna from New Zealand – 29 June 2025 (10/10)
Loved our stay at Sol Oasis, rooms and facilities all clean & tidy. Staff all friendly and helpful, highly recommend!
A wonderfully resort, suitable for couples & families with plenty of activities for all 10/10 – Chanelle from Ireland – 31 May 2025 (10/10)
Stunning property in a lovely quiet location. The staff were absolutely amazing and made this stay one to remember! Particular shout out to Hannah, Happiness, Mohsine & Sam!
What could be improved: It would be nice to see more meat options at dinner & lunch but this is a personal dietary preference. There was always a great selection of food & cuisines otherwise.Oasis by name – Oasis defined! Dont miss out. – Bernadette from United Kingdom – 21 May 2025 (10/10)
This hotel is exceptional.
I don’t know where to start – the staff, the cleanliness, the food, the facilities – all exceeded my expectations. I happened to be in a Gran Melia in Spain the week before and let me tell you, the Sol Oasis came very close to a 5 star hotel.
My sister had her 7 yo twins with her and they were tested like royalty. Shout out to Mohammed, a true asset to this hotel. He went above and beyond to make sure the children had the best time – and they did.
There were plenty of activities – kids club and for adults, days and evenings.
This hotel goes above and beyond. If you want a guaranteed great stay in Marrakech – look no further!!!
What could be improved: There is nothing bad about this hotel – GO!An enjoyable stay in an attractive and well maintained hotel complex. – Michael from United Kingdom – 13 April 2025 (9/10)
The hotel facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't stay for the evening entertainment, which we could hear from our room, but it finished at 23.00 each night which we think is fair enough.
What could be improved: There were a lot of food choices in the main restaurant, and we consistantly arrived when the restaurant opened so expected the hot food to be hot, but it wasn't. That said, the staff in the restaurant were attentive and friendly and the service was good.Had a great experience, very good value for money and definitely would return! – Emma from United Kingdom – 11 April 2025 (9/10)
Overall, a great experience and great value for money. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The buffet food was tasty- it was clear that the chefs care about food and make it with care. Great dessert and cakes.
The property was beautifully designed. Lots of comfortable seating spaces for you to relax both indoors and outdoors.
Pool area has lots of seating. And great selection of activities and entertainment all day long.
What could be improved: Bedrooms were a bit small but you are unlikely to spend much time in there so not a big problem.Exceptional – Darla from United States – 7 April 2025 (10/10)
Very nice, clean and beautiful! Staff are exceptional, food was very good with authentic Moroccan options, nightly entertainment was great with many options for activities. Highly recommend and will return when visiting Marrakech.
What could be improved: Location is outside of town. A shuttle is provided and taxi is accessible but not ideal if looking for a location walkable to areas around the cityFantastic – would recommend!! – Isabel from United Kingdom – 30 March 2025 (10/10)
Wonderful hotel and staff – very welcoming, offering over and beyond service. Shout out to Medi (Mike), as well as all the sports, entertainment and bar teams for great customer service
Super enjoyable – we will come back – Markus from Sweden – 3 March 2025 (9/10)
The staff is just exceptional!
One always feels that they really value their guests and enjoy what they are doing.
What could be improved: If I might improve something, it would be the coffee;-)
There is good coffee at the bars but the coffee in the dinig hall has too much sugar.Beautiful! 5 Star quality – Pidgeon from Ireland – 15 January 2025 (10/10)
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We came from Ireland and I actually thought we had booked a 5 star hotel as it was our honeymoon. I was worried when it was four star that it wouldn't be as special but it just left us wondering how it wasn't five star? It is more beautiful than any of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in in Ireland.
What could be improved: The only thing i can stretch my mind to think of was that when we had showers a slight pong would come up through the drain. This was the same in the other hotel we stayed in in Marrakech so I think it's something to do with their irrigation system in Marrakech.Beautiful hotel outside of the city centre. Loved the tranquility here and the super helpful team of staff. – Charlotte from United Kingdom – 5 January 2025 (9/10)
The staff were amazing – really helpful and hard working. They put on a fantastic New Year’s Eve event which must have taken a huge effort from the whole team. The hotel was beautiful and well laid out. Great options for breakfast. Good selection of drinks for all inclusive resort. We really liked the fire pits by the bar in the evenings and comfy outdoor sofas.
What could be improved: Not much negative to say – I liked that it was a quiet location but it took 30 mins to get into city centre.
