The studio is tucked away in Résidence Najma on Rue Al Mouqouama, and honestly, the first time I tried to find it, I walked right past the building twice. But that’s sort of the charm of it, you know? You’re literally a five-minute walk from the train station, which sounds hectic but actually works in your favor – especially if you’re planning day trips to Casablanca or Rabat.

The apartment itself sits on the third floor (that’s European third floor, so prepare for some stairs), and I mean, for a studio, they’ve really maximized the space without making it feel cramped. The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need – there’s a proper kitchenette where you can make decent coffee in the morning, not just one of those sad hotel setups with instant packets. The Wi-Fi actually works, which… well, if you’ve spent time in Marrakech, you know that’s not always a given. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night despite being so close to the gare – the building’s positioned just right so you get the convenience without the constant rumble of trains.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before my first stay: the neighborhood comes alive in the evenings when locals head out for dinner and socializing, but it’s not touristy-loud like you’d get near Jemaa el-Fnaa. You’ll hear conversations in Arabic and French drifting up from the street, the occasional scooter, but it’s more like a gentle urban lullaby than chaos. The building’s entrance can be a bit tricky to spot after dark (there’s a small sign, but it’s not exactly neon-bright), so maybe snap a photo during daylight for reference. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right place. The whole experience feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel, which I guess explains that solid 8.1 rating. It’s not going to wow you with fancy amenities, but it nails all the basics while keeping you connected to actual Marrakech life rather than the sanitized tourist bubble.

  The swimming pool and the living room were OK.
  
  What could be improved: We were four people staying at the apartment. There were only 2 towels for all of us and they weren't clean. They were full of stains. Regarding the kitchen we only had 3 plates to eat 1 knife and 3 small forks. Some kitchen items were broken. They even didn't had a lighter that worked to light up the glass stove. The owner wasn't too friendly while explaining some details of tje apartment and even charged us with the city tax for our 2 daughters. (one of them is 8 years old).

  Tre guardiani che si danno il cambio che controllano la struttura 24h. Zona residenziale adatta a famiglie.
  Casa profumata ed accogliente dotata di tutti i comfort, lavatrice inclusa che ci è stata molto utile.
