You’d think being on a main boulevard would mean traffic noise, but the building has decent insulation and honestly, Gueliz settles down after dinner anyway.

Here’s the thing about staying in Gueliz versus the medina – you’re walking distance to some of the best restaurants and cafes that locals actually go to, not just the tourist traps. There’s this little coffee spot just down the street that does proper French-style café au lait, and you can stroll to Carré Eden shopping center if you need anything. The 7.9 rating makes sense to me because while everything works well and it’s comfortable, it’s not trying to be fancy – it’s just solid and practical. Check-in was smooth (the building manager speaks decent English), and parking… well, you’ll figure it out like everyone else does in Marrakech. The medina is maybe a 15-minute walk if you want the full souks experience, but honestly, sometimes it’s nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood where you can think straight. If you’re the type who wants to experience Marrakech but also wants to retreat somewhere that feels normal at the end of the day, this place hits that sweet spot.

  El piso es muy acogedor y en una zona muy seguro de Marrakech, aunque Marrakech es seguro en su mayoría.
  
  What could be improved: El anfitrión no nos lo puso fácil para la recogida de llaves a pesar de que sabía que llegabamos a media noche. Tuvimos suerte de que un señor de otro apartamento nos ayudó.

  What could be improved: Jak na 3 osoby były 3 ręczniki, duży, średni i mały, więc trochę słabo. Miałam wrażenie, że pościel nie była świeża, posiadała ślady użytkowania.
