The apartment itself is on the first floor – which actually means second floor if you’re American, just so you know – and walking in, you immediately notice how they’ve nailed that balance between modern comfort and Moroccan character. The pool is honestly the star here, and I mean that. Most places in this price range either don’t have one or it’s some sad little rectangle, but this one’s actually inviting. You know what I love about it? The mornings are dead quiet, so you can have your coffee poolside without competing with anyone, but by afternoon there’s usually a gentle buzz of conversation from other guests. The apartment feels spacious in a way that surprises you – these old Marrakech buildings can be deceiving from the outside.
