Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from another “panoramic views” apartment listing – you know how those usually go. But stepping into this place on Avenue Moulay Abdellah, I actually had to pause for a moment. The light streaming through those floor-to-ceiling windows was incredible, and the views… well, they deliver on the promise. You’re looking out over Marrakech’s sprawling medina with the Atlas Mountains rising in the distance, especially gorgeous during those golden hour moments when the call to prayer echoes across the city.

The N 51 residence tamaris building itself is modern and well-maintained – a refreshing change from some of the older apartment blocks in this area. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being on a main avenue. The double-glazed windows actually work, which isn’t always a given in Marrakech. The apartment has that clean, minimalist feel without being sterile, and the kitchen is properly equipped (I mean, you can actually cook here, not just reheat things). The air conditioning is a godsend during summer months, and the WiFi was surprisingly reliable throughout my stay.

Location-wise, you’re in Gueliz, which locals will tell you is the “new city” – think wide boulevards, modern cafes, and actual parking spaces. It’s about a 10-minute taxi ride to Jemaa el-Fnaa if you want the full medina experience, but honestly, I loved being able to retreat to this calmer neighborhood after a day of navigating the souks. There’s a Carrefour just down the street for groceries, and some decent restaurants within walking distance. The host was responsive and check-in was smooth – they actually met me at the building, which made things so much easier than hunting for key boxes. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you factor in the views, the cleanliness, and that rare combination of being close to everything but still peaceful enough to actually relax.

I found a QR code that can be scanned and provides information about activities available in the area, which was very useful. The collaboration with the host was excellent, and the price is very good for the conditions offered. However, the bathroom needs improvement – ​​there is an unpleasant smell that should be fixed.
