You know what struck me first about this place? The name might be in French, but honestly, “Superbe appartement avec terrasse” pretty much nails it – this really is a superb apartment with a terrace. I mean, when you’re staying in the Résidence Rihanna complex on avenue acharaf, you’re basically getting the best of both worlds: close enough to Marrakech’s energy but tucked away in Mabrouka where you can actually breathe.

The terrace is genuinely the star here – I spent way more time out there than I expected, especially in the evenings when the temperature drops and you get this amazing view over the neighborhood. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which I actually prefer. It’s got that lived-in comfort without being worn down, if that makes sense. The building (LC5) is pretty modern by Marrakech standards, and apartment 721 sits high enough that you don’t get much street noise from avenue acharaf, though you’ll still hear the occasional call to prayer drifting over – which honestly just adds to the whole experience.

What I really appreciated was how the place works for different types of travelers. If you’re planning to explore the medina, you’re looking at maybe a 15-minute taxi ride, but if you want to experience more of residential Marrakech – the local cafés, the neighborhood hammams, the markets where actual families shop – well, you’re right in the middle of it. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be luxury, but everything works properly (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given). The 7.9 rating makes sense too – it’s solid without being perfect. I noticed the Wi-Fi could be spotty during peak hours, and the hot water takes a minute to get going in the mornings, but these are the kind of minor things you adapt to pretty quickly. The check-in was surprisingly smooth – the property manager met me right at the building entrance and actually took time to explain the neighborhood, pointing out the good bakery around the corner and warning me about the construction happening two blocks over. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to settle into a new place.

  Lovely little apartment in a very nice suburb of Marakech, away from the madness of the Madina and Souks but only 10 min taxi so very easy to get around. Comfy beds, big sofa to relax on and a balcony to chill out and watch the world go by beneath you.

  The host was really helpful at the check-in, he explained to us everything about the apartment and also pointed us to markets and everything we needed to cook or something else! Suggested if you want some privacy!

  We were contacted prior to our arrival, shared the location. On our arrival, we were greeted by the cleaning lady, she was very friendly and prepared the apartment for us, it was spotless !
  Wifi is fast, good view from the balcony.
  
  What could be improved: We were given the wrong keys of the building, therefore we were stuck outside, fortunately I found a concierge who was very helpful and called the building guardian and opened the door for us.
  It's been unfortunate as it coincides with the earthquake catastrophe that hit Morocco so we haven't spend the night in the apartment, it seemed a great place.
  
  One thing I haven't appreciated is although the owner is aware of the earthquake situation and the chaos hapening, he sent a message in the morning asking us to check-out.. tha was very inconsiderate !

  The house perfectly matches the clean description and in the center of Marrakech, located in a pleasant and very quiet residential area 5 minutes walk from the train station. But the nicest things are the managers of the apartment Omar and his assistant who were very helpful and attentive
