When I first pulled up, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name (it’s quite a mouthful), but the residence itself has this quiet, almost European apartment complex vibe that’s refreshing after the chaos of the old city.

What really got me was how the place feels like you’re staying in an actual neighborhood. There’s a little café around the corner where the owner, Hassan, makes this incredible mint tea – and I mean, you can hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque in the early morning, but it’s not overwhelming like it can be in the medina. The apartment itself is spacious in a way that most Marrakech hotels just aren’t. I’m talking about real counter space in the kitchen, a living room where you can actually spread out your maps and guidebooks, and – this might sound silly – but the shower has proper water pressure. After a day of walking around the souks, that matters more than you’d think.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Marrakech without feeling like you’re in a tourist bubble. You’re maybe a 10-minute taxi ride from Jemaa el-Fnaa, but you can also walk to Avenue Mohammed V for actual shopping (not just tourist stuff) and some solid restaurants that locals frequent. I discovered this little place called Café Clock nearby that does amazing fusion food – totally stumbled on it while exploring the neighborhood. The residence has decent parking too, which is gold if you’re planning any day trips to the Atlas Mountains or Essaouira. Check-in was smooth, though the property manager speaks French better than English, so brush up on your basic French phrases if you can. The whole experience feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed city apartment than a hotel, and honestly? That’s exactly what makes it special. You get the comfort and space of a real home base while still being close enough to dive into all the madness that makes Marrakech incredible.

  Apartman je prostran i lijepo namješten, kreveti su udobni, ručnici su odlični, lokacija je super. Komunikacija s vlasnikom je odlična i brza, te nam je dozvolje da se prijavimo puno ranije od predviđenog vremena – za svaku pohvalu. Generalno apartman je čist, ali bilo bi dobro napraviti jedno temeljito čišćenje. Sve u svemu mi smo bili zadovoljni.

  What could be improved: Difficile pour récupérer les clefs car pas de numéro de l'immeuble ni de numéro de l'appartement lors de la réservation. L'accueil a dû appeler l'hôte pour nous renseigner.
  Les horaires de piscine pas très accessibles lors d'un road-trip car de 10h à 20h car trop tard le matin quand on souhaite partir tôt.
