Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of riads and hotels around Marrakech, but TheCasaEdition in Gueliz honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a place and cross your fingers it’ll be decent? Well, this one actually delivered on everything and then some. The location on Rue Ibn Sina is perfect if you want to be in the heart of modern Marrakech without dealing with the constant hustle of the medina (though don’t worry, you’re still close enough to walk there when the mood strikes).

What I really loved about this place is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between contemporary comfort and Moroccan character. The rooms are spacious – I mean, properly spacious, not that “cozy” nonsense you sometimes get – and the design feels thoughtful without being pretentious. The staff genuinely knows their stuff too, which makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to eat or how to navigate the city. I asked about getting to the Majorelle Gardens and they didn’t just give me directions, they told me the best time to go to avoid the crowds and which entrance to use. That kind of local insight is gold when you’re traveling.

Honestly, the 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not just about the clean sheets and reliable wifi (though both are excellent) – it’s the little things that add up. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for walking around, especially in the evenings when the cafés along the street come alive. You’re literally surrounded by some of the best restaurants in Gueliz, and the taxis actually know where this street is, which sounds obvious but trust me, it’s not always the case in Marrakech. I also appreciated how quiet it gets at night – the building seems well-insulated, so you can actually sleep without earplugs. The check-in was smooth, parking nearby is doable if you’re renting a car, and the whole experience just felt… effortless, I guess? Sometimes the best compliment you can give a hotel is that it got out of your way and let you enjoy the city, and TheCasaEdition definitely does that.

  our stay was very comfortable only 2 things missing in our apartment we stayed microwave & in bathroom bidet wasn’t there otherwise our stay was very pleasant & specially thank you too security guard he was very attentive

  The place was a luxury spot, very clean, very nice. The host was very accommodating. The area was close to main ave, where there were restaurants, cafe and only 15 minutes away from Medina and central markets. Wifi and TV worked great.

  The facilities are complete, the actual situation is exactly the same as the picture, the decoration is high-end and atmospheric, the house is clean and bright, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, I only stayed for 2 nights.

  Very good money value. Big apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, balcony with city views and free parking. Self check-in.
  
  What could be improved: The reception guy who is managing the parking is unhelpful. I asked him to open the garage door for us but he made us call our owner to tell him to do it. The apartment is not soundproof, you can hear everything, including a nearby mosque.

  I loved the location and cleanliness of the apartment. Pickup point from my tour vehicle was less than a minute walk. The Manager was really nice.
