Valeria Dar Atlas All Inclusive Overview
So I stumbled upon Valeria Dar Atlas All Inclusive purely by accident – well, actually my original booking fell through and I needed something quick on Route de Fès. You know what though? Sometimes these unplanned discoveries turn out better than your carefully researched choices. The place sits right in the Bab Atlas area, which honestly most tourists skip over because they’re laser-focused on getting into the medina, but there’s something refreshing about being just outside that constant hustle.
The hotel itself has this interesting split personality – it’s trying to be that polished all-inclusive resort experience, but there’s still enough Moroccan character seeping through that it doesn’t feel completely sanitized. The lobby smells like that perfect mix of mint tea and whatever cleaning products they use on the marble floors, and I mean that in a good way. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for Morocco (no offense, but anyone who’s traveled here knows what I’m talking about), and the staff actually seemed to understand that whole “all-inclusive” concept better than some places I’ve stayed in Turkey or Egypt. The rooms are decent – not blow-your-mind spectacular, but clean and comfortable with working AC, which in Marrakech heat is honestly all you really need. I had a minor issue with the shower pressure, but that’s pretty standard for this area unless you’re dropping serious cash at La Mamounia.
What really won me over was the pool area during the late afternoon – you get this gorgeous light filtering through the palm trees, and it’s quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think. The restaurant situation is… well, it’s all-inclusive buffet food, so adjust your expectations accordingly. But they do a surprisingly good tagine on certain nights, and the breakfast spread has enough variety that you won’t get bored over a week-long stay. The location is actually pretty smart when you think about it – you’re close enough to walk to the medina when you want that authentic chaos (about 15 minutes if you don’t get lost), but far enough away that you can escape back to your peaceful bubble. Parking is available, which is honestly a miracle in this city, and the Route de Fès connection means you can get to the airport or the Palmeraie without wanting to tear your hair out in traffic. It’s solid middle-ground territory – not the luxury experience you’ll brag about for years, but definitely not the horror story you’ll warn people about either.

Reviews of Valeria Dar Atlas All Inclusive
It was relaxing and I didn’t need to get out of the hotel as all inclusive – Naima from United Kingdom – 26 April 2025 (7/10)
Staff were exceptional
What could be improved: The garden, the pool, food and quiet lifePleasant – Shafqat from United Kingdom – 20 April 2025 (6/10)
It was relaxing and a getaway
What could be improved: It was expensive and didn’t really live upto the standard compared to other all inclusive hotels. The staff were not as welcoming, I feel this was because I was an hijabi, the response from them was aloof and I had to ask the same request multiple times 😔Fabulous, relaxing and therapeutic – Kamal from United Kingdom – 13 April 2025 (8/10)
We had a fantastic time at Valeria Atlas Hotel Marrakech! The rooms were spotlessly clean and the facilities were absolutely brilliant – from the pool to the spa, everything was well-maintained and enjoyable.
A special shoutout to the entertainment team who kept us busy and smiling all day with fun activities and shows – they really made the experience memorable.
The food was exceptionally good, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The desserts in particular were to die for – we looked forward to them every single day!
The only slight downside was that the hotel is a bit out of the way, so we had to get a taxi each time we wanted to go into central Marrakech. But honestly, it wasn’t a big issue and was well worth it for the relaxing environment the hotel offers.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and food-filled getaway!Very good – Claire from United Kingdom – 9 April 2025 (8/10)
Nice, spacious , clean rooms. Beautiful, peaceful grounds. Great food. Lovely, fun animation team.
What could be improved: Some savoury snacks would have been good to have available during the day, not just sweet pastries. Need money for everything, deposit for towels, safe, and to print boarding passes (20 dhs per sheet seemed quite expensive). Was told by receptionist it would cost 200 dhs to airport just needed to walk out via gate and then got out no one wanted to take us, insisted on 250 which we no longer had. In the end a nice taxi driver decided to take us with us cutting it fine to the airport. Smart TV with Youtube etc would have been useful for kids in the room. Also, the fact you have to pay for certain drinks means it's not fully all inclusive.Deeply relaxing, multiple activities/ spa/entertainment available + shuttle bus to historic centre. – Briony from United Kingdom – 13 March 2025 (8/10)
Loved beautiful gardens. There was an ornamental lake with fountains , very tame ducks & peahens, & waking up to birdsong was very relaxing. The outdoor pools were stunning & there was a good sized heated indoor pool. Also loved the zen pool & spa available at sister hotel next door. Friendly helpful staff. Tasty cuisine. Fun activities./ entertainment. Excellent spa treatments Rooms in traditional Riads were comfortable & quiet away from main building with bar/ restaurant/theatre/ nightclub. Shuttle bus to historic centre. Excellent value for money in my opinion.
What could be improved: Shower cubicle in bathroom needs a door to prevent flooding.
Bathrooms could do with an upgrade but were clean.Good – Dóra from Hungary – 12 February 2025 (7/10)
quiet location, nice staff
What could be improved: Small annoying indisciplines: you have to hunt for cutlery at meals. So much for those with food allergies! they pay attention to which food contains which allergen, but there were not enough spoons for the bowls to use, so everyone used them back and forth, thus the gluten-containing foods easily got into the non-gluten-containing dishes. The price of this was diarrhea for us.
the opening hours of the indoor pool are also unreal: closed until 5 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. This is obviously annoying when you cannot swim in the outdoor pools because they are so cold.A great place that could be exceptional with a little attention to detail – Lucy from United Kingdom – 20 October 2024 (8/10)
The hotel was lovely and had a great pool, entertainment and a fab waterpark too. The all inclusive options worked well. The location was great and a very good way to explore Marrakech but relax too. The entertainment department was great.
What could be improved: The reception desk was not very helpful and we didn't feel the welcome we expected for the money we paid. No one explained how to find our room or how to get to the Aquapark. It took ages to get orientated with everything. Our room was ok but we didn't have enough towels and some linen and towels were stained. The food options were great but 3 out of 4 of us didn't feel well after eating. The staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for you, bar staff, entertainment staff no 1 MoMo was fab!!! However the recep – Nikki from United Kingdom – 14 March 2024 (8/10)
The staff were fabulous & the food amazing, grounds were stunning & immaculate
What could be improved: The rooms were basic, need updating, phone to ring reception didn’t work & fridge didn’t work, beds very hard gave us both terrible back ache & no in room tea & coffee facilitiesVery good – Raptis from Greece – 12 November 2023 (8/10)
The gardens are great and provide a relaxed vibe. Some food was real extraordinary, especially the marrocan pancakes at breakfast and lamp and fish at dinner.
What could be improved: Room had details than need fixing. You had to ask multiple times to get something.Very good – Deirdre from United Kingdom – 13 April 2023 (8/10)
Great selection of food, lovely gardens and pools, excellent activities and team running them.
What could be improved: Waiting staff were lovely but really under pressure as it seemed they were understaffed. Frustrating at meal times waiting for tables to be laid and then for drinks orders.
