You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Marrakech, but this villa in Agdal actually surprised me. When I first pulled up to villa 26 on that quiet stretch near Massmoudi, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the address sounds pretty residential, which it is. But that’s exactly what makes it special.
The whole setup feels like you’re staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happens to have impeccable taste and a gorgeous private pool. I mean, the pool alone is worth it – it’s this perfect size where you can actually swim laps but also just float around with a book. The four bedrooms are spacious without being overwhelming, and there’s this lived-in elegance that you don’t get in most hotels. The kitchen is actually functional too, which matters if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour down the road instead of eating out every meal. Speaking of food, you’re maybe fifteen minutes from the medina by taxi, but the Agdal neighborhood has its own rhythm – quieter streets, local cafés where you won’t see tour groups, and honestly better parking if you’re brave enough to rent a car.
What really got me was how the place handles that tricky balance between authentic Moroccan style and modern comfort. The tilework is stunning – clearly done by local artisans – but the Wi-Fi actually works and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train. I stayed there during shoulder season in April, and the evenings were perfect for sitting by the pool with the Atlas Mountains visible in the distance. The staff, well, they’re more like caretakers really, know the area inside and out. They pointed me toward this little hammam about ten minutes away that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which riads in the medina are tourist traps versus the ones where locals actually go. The only minor thing – and this is pretty typical for villas in this area – is that it can get a bit quiet at night, almost too quiet if you’re used to city noise. But for most people, that’s exactly what you want after a day of navigating the beautiful chaos of Marrakech’s souks.

Villa dans un endroit très très calme et spacieuse surtout à proximité de tout les endroits dont nos avions besoins (carrefour, restaurant, café , boulangerie…)
Ma famille a très aimer ,les enfants ils se sont régaler avec la piscine plus la propreté
le personnel MR Mehdi très agréable respectueux nous a bien accueilli etc …….

Great Location just 5min to the centre, the villa was clean and calm.
The pool was the best thing in this villa.

What could be improved: The AC was noisy the first night, after telling the host, he immediately called the technician to fix it.
