This villa sits in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to hit the medina when you want the full sensory overload, but far enough out that you can actually hear yourself think.

The warm pool is honestly the star here, and not just because it’s heated (though trust me, that matters more than you’d think, especially if you’re visiting during those cooler months when the Atlas Mountains make their presence known). It’s positioned perfectly so you can float around while getting glimpses of the mountains in the distance, and the water temperature is just right – not that lukewarm disappointment you sometimes get at other places. The villa itself has that authentic Moroccan charm without feeling like someone went overboard with the tourist aesthetic, if that makes sense. The rooms are spacious, the beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s something about the way the light filters through in the mornings that just works.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get the balance right – they’re helpful without hovering, and they know the area well enough to point you toward the good tajine spots that aren’t tourist traps. The location on Route d’Ourika means you’re positioned perfectly for day trips to the Ourika Valley if you’re into hiking or just want to see some Berber villages, but you can also easily grab a taxi into the city center when you want to lose yourself in the souks. Parking isn’t a nightmare here either, which anyone who’s driven around Marrakech will tell you is no small thing. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers on what it promises. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some corners of the villa, but honestly, that might be a feature rather than a bug depending on what kind of vacation you’re after. The whole place has this relaxed vibe that grows on you, especially in the evenings when you can sit by the pool with a mint tea and watch the sky change colors over the Atlas range.

  Maison magnifique , décorée avec beaucoup de goûts . Très propre . Très bien agencée. Piscine bien grande . En plein été cela doit être encore plus parfait car la maison garde bien la fraîcheur . Il y a de quoi réchauffer la maison c’était parfait . La propriétaire est très agréable et vraiment arrangeante
