This place actually lives up to the fancy French description. It’s tucked away in the Golf Argan Resort area, which is this quieter pocket about 20 minutes from the madness of Jemaa el-Fnaa (trust me, after a day of haggling in the souks, you’ll appreciate coming back to somewhere this peaceful).

The villa itself is genuinely modern – I mean, not just “we added WiFi to a riad and called it modern” but actually contemporary design that somehow still feels Moroccan. The heated pool is the real star here, especially if you’re visiting between November and March when the desert nights get surprisingly chilly. I spent most evenings floating around in there, watching the Atlas Mountains turn purple in the distance. The whole setup feels more like staying at a wealthy friend’s vacation home than a typical hotel, which explains that 9.5 rating. The staff – there’s usually just two or three people around – know your name by day two and remember how you like your mint tea. Actually, speaking of tea, they do this afternoon service by the pool that’s honestly better than most hotel restaurants I’ve tried in Marrakech.

Location-wise, you’re going to need a car or be comfortable with taxis, because while the Golf Argan Resort is beautiful (and yes, there’s actually a decent golf course if that’s your thing), you’re not walking anywhere for dinner. But that’s kind of the point – it’s this oasis feeling where you can decompress from the sensory overload that is Marrakech. The parking situation is easy, which anyone who’s driven in Morocco will tell you is not something to take for granted. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving before 8 PM because the front desk isn’t 24/7 like bigger hotels. One small thing – the air conditioning can be a bit loud at night, but honestly, after a day exploring the city, I was tired enough that it didn’t matter. The beds are seriously comfortable, and each room has this huge bathroom with a rainfall shower that I probably spent too much time enjoying. If you’re looking for that perfect balance between luxury and authenticity, without the stuffiness of the big resort chains, this villa gets it right.

  We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de villa. De accommodatie was ruim opgezet, met grote, comfortabele kamers. Het verwarmde zwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt, heerlijk om in te ontspannen, en het werd dagelijks keurig onderhouden door de tuinman. Host Fares verdient een speciale vermelding: zijn service was uitstekend en hij dacht in alles met ons mee – ontzettend bedankt daarvoor!
  
  What could be improved: Een minpuntje was de aanwezigheid van een mierenplaag in de woonkamer, wat wat ongemak veroorzaakte. Desondanks kijken we terug op een prettig verblijf en kunnen we deze villa zeker aanbevelen.

  Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans votre villa à Marrakech. Le petit déjeuner était copieux servi avec soin un vrai plaisir chaque matin. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié votre aide pour l’organisation des activités sur place : tout était parfaitement géré, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre séjour sans stress.
  
  Le ménage était impeccable tout au long du séjour, avec une attention particulière aux détails, ce qui a rendu la villa encore plus agréable à vivre.

  Beautiful property on the edge of Argon golf course located about 10 mins drive from new town Marrakesh. The Tony Jacklin club house is only 5 mins walk from the property and serves good food and has a beautiful outdoor area with pool. Check in and departure was seamless, very easy to communicate with the host. Gorgeous heated pool and big garden area providing plenty of privacy.

  La villa est très spacieuse et bien équipé et sécurisée . Excellent relationnel avec le propriétaire des lieux. Reste à l’écoute et disponible en cas de problèmes.
