Villa BALI KECH Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Villa BALI KECH, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical Marrakech hotel experience. The name might throw you off at first — honestly, I was expecting something more traditionally Moroccan — but there’s actually something refreshing about this Indonesian-inspired approach in the heart of Morocco. Located in the Sidi Youssef area, it feels like you’ve discovered a hidden retreat that most tourists haven’t caught onto yet. The property has this intimate, almost residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s beautifully designed home rather than a commercial hotel.
Location & Neighborhood
Sidi Youssef is one of those neighborhoods that locals know well but visitors often overlook, and that’s actually part of its charm. You’re still very much in Marrakech — the medina and all the main attractions are easily accessible — but you get to escape the constant buzz of the tourist areas. I mean, sometimes you just need a break from the intensity of Jemaa el-Fnaa, you know? The area feels more authentic, with local cafes and everyday Moroccan life happening around you. Plus, there’s free private parking on site, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Marrakech’s narrow streets with a rental car will tell you is absolutely golden.
The Pool & Outdoor Spaces
Here’s where Villa BALI KECH really shines — the outdoor areas are genuinely special. The swimming pool becomes the heart of the property, especially during those scorching Marrakech afternoons when you need to cool off. But it’s the open-air bath that caught me off guard (in the best way). There’s something almost meditative about soaking outdoors while palm trees sway overhead and you can hear the distant call to prayer echoing across the city. Couples seem to gravitate toward these spaces — I noticed quite a few romantic moments happening around sunset, and honestly, I can see why this place gets such high marks for romantic getaways.
Breakfast & Daily Rhythms
Mornings here follow a lovely, unhurried pace. The breakfast setup gives you options — sometimes it’s more continental style, other days they’ll have a proper buffet spread depending on how many guests are around. What I appreciated most was how they incorporate both Moroccan touches and international options, so you’re not stuck eating the same thing every day. The dining area opens onto the garden spaces, so you end up lingering longer than planned, watching the light change as the day warms up. It’s one of those breakfasts where you actually want to wake up early rather than rushing through it.
Why Guests Love It
Villa BALI KECH works because it offers something different without trying too hard. You get the tranquility and personal attention of a smaller property, but with thoughtful amenities that enhance rather than overwhelm the experience. The fusion concept — Balinese design elements in a Moroccan setting — sounds risky on paper, but somehow it creates this unique atmosphere that feels both exotic and comfortable. For couples especially, there’s an intimacy here that larger hotels simply can’t match, and the outdoor spaces provide natural romantic moments throughout the day.

Reviews of Villa BALI KECH
The place could have been perfect if it was clean and if the owner was responsive when we needed help at the beginning o – Abdellah from United States – 17 June 2025 (6/10)
Location was great
What could be improved: Cleanness!Very good – Habiba from France – 24 May 2025 (8/10)
Exceptional – Cosmin from Romania – 20 May 2025 (10/10)
Very safe, nice location close from the centre of the city.
Excellent Vila excellent breakfast by Bushra – Wazeer from United Kingdom – 21 February 2025 (10/10)
Excellent breakfast presented by Bushra
What could be improved: Every thing was top specVery good – Daniel from Spain – 6 January 2025 (8/10)
Good people
Good breakfastGood – Giuseppe from Italy – 29 December 2024 (7/10)
What could be improved: La pulizia sicuramente da rivedere, si trovava un po' di polvere ovunque.
Une parenthèse enchantée – Cecile from France – 14 October 2024 (8/10)
Merci
What could be improved: ce n'est qu'un détail mais l'évacuation de l'eau de la douche n'est pas évidente.Very good – Zakarya from France – 12 August 2024 (8/10)
Idéal pour une famille avec enfant.
Endroit paisible et calme. Hôte très sympa.Very good – Kabbaj from Morocco – 1 June 2024 (8/10)
Couldn’t have been worse with this property. Worst decision to book this – Zaeem from United Kingdom – 20 April 2024 (1/10)
There is nothing to like about this property. Total waste of money.
What could be improved: The location is very very far from the city. No taxi driver is ready to drop you at this location after dark. It was a terrible experience to get back to hotel on our first day. We decided to leave the hotel despite paying for our stay in advance. The owner keeps coming in the property for petty things. Its not a safe property at all. No refunds were offered by the owner as we only stayed for 6 hours instead of 4 days. Its very far from
the city. Never book this property. Very unsafe.
