Villa Baraka Overview
First Impressions
Villa Baraka sits along the route to Ouarzazate, which honestly makes it feel like you’ve discovered something special before you even reach the main tourist areas of Marrakech. The property has this authentic Moroccan charm that you don’t always find in the more polished hotels — it’s the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re experiencing the real Morocco, not just a sanitized version of it. When I first pulled up, the traditional architecture immediately caught my eye, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels genuinely rooted in its surroundings rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
Location & Getting Around
You know what’s interesting about this spot? It’s positioned perfectly for couples who want that romantic getaway feel — apparently other guests have noticed this too, rating it quite highly for romantic trips. The location gives you easy access to Marrakech proper when you want the medina experience, but you’re far enough out to actually relax and breathe. I mean, sometimes you need that escape from the intensity of the city center. Plus, having free private parking right on site is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning to explore the Atlas Mountains or take day trips toward Ouarzazate.
The Experience
What really sets Villa Baraka apart is how they’ve thought about the little things that matter. The Turkish steam bath is absolutely worth your time — after a day of exploring dusty souks or hiking, it’s exactly what you need. They also offer walking tours, which I’d actually recommend taking early in your stay because the local insights you’ll get will enhance everything else you do in the area. There’s even darts if you’re looking for something low-key in the evening, though honestly, you’ll probably be more interested in soaking up the atmosphere on the terrace.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast situation here is actually quite impressive for the range of dietary needs they accommodate. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or need halal options, they’ve got you covered — and that’s not always easy to find, especially outside the main hotel districts. They even do breakfast to go, which is perfect if you’re planning an early morning trip to the Atlas Mountains or want to catch sunrise somewhere special. The quality is solid, and you can tell they put thought into sourcing local ingredients rather than just going through the motions.
Why Guests Love It
Villa Baraka works because it strikes that sweet spot between authentic Moroccan hospitality and modern comfort. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but you are getting genuine warmth and attention to detail that makes your stay memorable. The 8.9 guest rating speaks to how well they execute the basics — clean, comfortable accommodations with thoughtful touches that show they actually care about your experience. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself lingering over mint tea, planning your next visit to Morocco before you’ve even left.
To book a hotel in Marrakech during Ramadan nights, visitors plan ahead to savor ftour feasts and Jemaa el-Fnaa storytellers.

Reviews of Villa Baraka
Ideaal voor relaxen buiten de stad. – Youssef from Morocco – 23 June 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: RasExceptional – Martine from France – 6 May 2025 (10/10)
Avoid at all cost. – Robert from United Kingdom – 3 April 2025 (1/10)
Nothing
What could be improved: Leaking roof through electric lights, damp throughout, fungus on walls, the filters for the pool water don’t seem to work either. We’ve arrived in the late evening and in the morning we booked other place to not ruin our holiday. Owner said he won’t refund but luckily booking did. I’m not exaggerating here’s a link to videos and photos

Cette villa sans vis à vis est exceptionnelle.
L’accueil qui nous a été réservé malgré notre arrivée tardive.a lovely place with some minor inconveniences – Simon from Slovenia – 2 March 2025 (10/10)
I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It was very spacious, beautifully designed, and had a great ambiance. The breakfast was delicious, and the host was kind and welcoming.
What could be improved: Hot water wasn’t available in every room, the AC heating wasn’t working, and the location is only convenient if you have a car. Overall, a lovely place with some minor inconveniences.Great, lovely peaceful villa – Daniel from United Kingdom – 5 January 2025 (8/10)
The villa was in a lovely quiet and private location. Very peaceful and relaxing. Pool area lovely, great addition swing seat. This was used a lot 🙂 lovely Moroccan feel to the villa interior. Couldn't complain about the look or location and pictures doesn't do this lovely villa enough justice.
What could be improved: We had minor issues with electric, heated water and the general warmth of the villa. We felt uncomfortable most evenings as there was no heating available in the living area. As this is a large villa, bedroom air-conditioning systems aren't enough to heat a whole villa. While our concerns were expressed, the owner and hosts were very quick to help with all issues addressed. We were given a portable gas heater. I think this villa would benefit massively with more heating installed. We appreciate the fast response and help from the hosts and also the kind added surprises we were given as an apology to said issues. I think a great addition would be heated pool. Winter months aren't warm enough and the pool was impossible to get into. Other than this we had a fantastic stay 🙂Great host and great property. An oasis of tranquillity with large pool and brilliant facilities. – Alec from United Kingdom – 23 April 2024 (9/10)
Delicious homemade breakfast, great and helpful host. It is an oasis of tranquillity with a great swimming pool and great facilities. We loved our time here and so did the children. We will be back!
