You know what honestly surprised me most about Villa Dalia? It’s how they managed to create this perfect bubble of tranquility right on the Route de Ouarzazate – I mean, this is one of the main arteries leading out of Marrakech toward the Atlas Mountains, so you’d expect traffic noise, but somehow you barely notice it once you’re inside. The whole place feels like someone’s elegant private residence that they’ve opened up to guests, which I guess is sort of the point. When I first pulled up, I actually wasn’t sure I was in the right place because it doesn’t scream “hotel” – it’s more like approaching a friend’s beautiful villa where you half expect someone to greet you with mint tea on the terrace.

The pool situation is honestly what sold me, and I’m usually not even a pool person. It’s not huge or flashy, but it’s perfectly positioned so you can float around in the late afternoon while watching the light change on the mountains in the distance. The staff – and this is where that “personnels” part of the name really shows – they remember how you like your coffee after like two days, and they’ll quietly set up the poolside loungers with fresh towels right when you need them without you having to ask. I stayed there during shoulder season in March, and while the days were warm enough for swimming, the evenings got cool enough that they’d actually bring out these soft blankets without being prompted. The whole operation runs so smoothly that you forget you’re technically at a commercial establishment rather than staying with very attentive friends.

What really gets me is the location – yes, you’re about fifteen minutes from the main medina action, but that’s actually perfect because you get the best of both worlds. You can easily grab a taxi into Jemaa el-Fnaa for dinner and the evening chaos, then come back to this peaceful retreat where you can actually sleep without hearing scooters revving all night. Plus, being on the Ouarzazate route means you’re perfectly positioned if you want to do day trips to the Atlas Mountains or even push further south – I did a fantastic day trip to Aït Benhaddou that would’ve been much more complicated from a hotel deeper in the city center. The 9.7 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me at all, because they’ve figured out that sweet spot where everything works seamlessly but nothing feels overly formal or stuffy. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself extending your stay just because leaving feels unnecessarily complicated.

  Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette villa. L’environnement est très calme. Elle se situe dans un quartier populaire ce qui est très appréciable si vous souhaitez vivre des expériences locales. Le technicien Oussama qui nous a remis les clés est d’un professionnalisme exemplaire. Toujours disponible et à su répondre à la moindre de nos demandes. La maison est très propre et bien entretenu. Le gardien très discret tout en étant présent. Le personnel a bien respecté notre intimité et ne nous a dérangé a aucun moment. Fatiha la cuisinière et agent d’entretien nous a concocté des plats excellents et à qu s’adapter à chacun des membres de ma famille. Elle a été au petit soin avec nous et nous a proposé des petits déjeuners et déjeuners majestueux. Tout est fait maison. Très discrète et a su elle aussi répondre toutes nos demandes. Fatiha est ponctuel et très professionnel. Le personnel sur place est très accueillant et à l’écoute. La villa propose plusieurs services. La villa est bien équipée. Idéale pour un séjour en famille: lit parapluie, chaise haute, grand trampoline, table ping pong, etc
  
  What could be improved: La villa est éloignée du centre il faut compter au moins 30min. Je vous conseil de louer une voiture. Le seul bémol : les serviettes de bain à disposition dans les salles de bain et roulettes. Elles sont très usées il faudrait fortement les changer. Celles pour la piscine de très bonnes qualités.
