Villa ELIA Overview
You know what struck me first about Villa ELIA? It’s tucked away in this quiet corner of Marrakech that feels completely removed from the chaos of the medina, but you’re still close enough to hear the evening call to prayer drifting over the palm trees. I mean, when you’re sitting by their pool in the late afternoon, you get this perfect mix of tranquility and just enough of that authentic Moroccan atmosphere to remind you where you are.
The thing about this place is that it actually feels like staying in someone’s beautifully designed home rather than a typical hotel. The owners clearly put thought into every corner – there’s this gorgeous tiled courtyard where you’ll probably end up having your morning coffee (honestly, the mint tea here is better than most places in the souks), and the rooms have these incredible high ceilings that keep everything cool even during those brutal Marrakech summer days. I stayed in one of the suites and was surprised by how quiet it was at night, which is saying something because Marrakech can be… well, let’s just say it’s not always the most peaceful city after dark. The staff here really knows their stuff too – they arranged a driver for me who knew all the back routes to avoid the tourist traffic around Jemaa el-Fnaa, which saved me probably an hour each way.
What really sets Villa ELIA apart though is the location in the Marradis area. It’s one of those neighborhoods that most tourists never discover, about a fifteen-minute drive from the main attractions but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. There’s this little bakery just down the street where locals grab their morning bread – no English spoken, just point and smile – and you’ll walk past families going about their daily routines rather than being surrounded by other travelers taking selfies. The villa itself has this rooftop terrace where you can see the Atlas Mountains on clear days, and honestly, watching the sunset from up there with a glass of wine beats any fancy restaurant view I’ve experienced in Morocco. Check-in was refreshingly simple too, none of that formal hotel lobby nonsense – just genuine hospitality from people who seem to actually care about making your stay memorable. If you’re looking for that perfect balance between authentic Moroccan experience and modern comfort, this place nails it.

Nice stay in Nice place – Amine from Morocco – 6 June 2025 (10/10)
It was a great stay. It was very short but fantastic. The villa has a very big swimming pool. It has a very big garden with a small plantation full of bio vegetables. Moroccan breakfast was tasty. The villa is outside Marrakech. But it takes 12 minutes driving to get to the jamaa el fna square. They have a steam bath for relaxation. The villa is highly recommended. We will come back for sure.
What could be improved: NothingMerci pour votre gentillesse – Amine from Morocco – 6 June 2025 (10/10)
