You know what hit me first about this place? The silence. I mean, you’re only 15 kilometers out of Marrakech on the Ourika road, but it feels like you’ve escaped to another world entirely. Villa en pleine campagne – and they weren’t kidding about that countryside part. The Atlas Mountains just sort of loom there in the distance, especially gorgeous during those golden hour moments when the light hits the peaks just right.

The property itself is honestly more authentic than I expected from the photos. It’s got that rustic Moroccan charm without feeling like someone’s trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect, you know? The rooms are solid – nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with those thick walls that keep things cool during the day. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Coming from the chaos of Marrakech’s medina, the contrast is pretty dramatic. You can actually hear yourself think here, which is saying something. The staff genuinely seems to care about the place too, not just going through the motions like at some of the bigger hotels.

Location-wise, it’s one of those spots that works if you’re planning to explore the Ourika Valley anyway – the road takes you straight toward Setti Fatma and those waterfalls everyone talks about. But honestly, you’ll want a car or at least be comfortable with taxi negotiations, because you’re not walking anywhere from here. The nearest village, Sidi Abdellah Ghiat, is pretty small, so don’t expect much in terms of restaurants or shops nearby. That said, if you’re looking to disconnect and just soak up the mountain air, it’s actually perfect. The pool area gets nice afternoon sun, and there’s something really satisfying about floating there with those mountain views stretching out in front of you. I’d probably rate it around an 8 out of 10 – it delivers exactly what it promises, which is more than you can say for a lot of places. Just don’t expect luxury resort amenities, and you’ll leave happy.

  Not much to be honest, everything that could go wrong went wrong.
  
  What could be improved: We didn’t like a lot about this property as this was an extremely dirty and unhygienic place. There were dirty bed sheets and pillow cases. Cupboards were sticky and visible dirt all around the house. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. There was a severe infestation of insects and ants. There were visible bedbugs climbing up the walls and on the sofas and beds. Cigarette burns clearly visible on the pillows. Unhygienic kitchen area with dirty cloths, dirty dishes, dirty kettle and dirty cupboards . There was a broken bathroom sink that was not working the entire time we were there. Extensive dirt and insect activity on floors, walls and inside bedroom cupboards, which also contained dirty blankets. A filthy toilet and significant limescale build up in the shower area. There was a broken table which is a clear safety hazard. The electricity of the villa went out about 9/10 times during our stay. Some times at night or during the day or in the morning. We were about air conditioning so it was very hot and my family got ill because of it. We had no water for 2 days and we told the manager to call a technician in to fix it but he delayed that for a full day and called him a whole day later to fix it. We couldn’t have showers or clean ourselves because there was no water. This villa is not recommended to anyone else in the future. This place is a clear health and safety hazard in every aspect and booking.com should do a review and see if this place is even safe to stay at.

  Le logement était à spacieux et très propre ! Les pièces etait toute climatisé ! On s’est senti très à l’aise ! Un très bonne accueil avec fouad , Fatima la cuisinière et le jardinier nous ont bcp aidé durant le séjour !
  
  What could be improved: L’emplacement de la villa nous a bcp handicapé par manque d’adresse , il est vraiment nécessaire voir primordial d’avoir une voiture pour louer cette villa !

  Je suis ravie de ne pas avoir tenue compte des commentaires négatifs. Quelle agréable surprise en rentrant dans cette villa. La propreté de la maison ainsi que de la piscine m’a étonné et l’accueil de Mr Foued était au top ! Hâte d’y revenir !

  Bon emplacement. Situé à 24 km du centre co Almazar. Premières petites épiceries à 2km (boucher, petite épicerie), à 4 km vous trouverez une boulangerie, une boucherie et de quoi acheter fruits et légumes… La place Jame3 El Fna est à environ 30min. La maison est très grande et très propre. Le jardin avec la piscine sont agréables. Il faut savoir qu'il y a un peu de piste à faire, rien de bien méchant et que le soir vous aurez quelques chant de grenouille pour vous bercer (la encore rien de méchant mais il faut le savoir).
  
  What could be improved: Nous aurions aimé voir la piscine prête dès notre arrivée (nous avons du attendre le lendemain afin de nous baigner), problème avec l'électricité (tout disjoncte tout le temps même quand aucune clim est en marche), sinon, il manque quelques rideaux occultants dans les chambres à l'étage, et quelques ustensiles de cuisine (économe, saladier, pince à barbecue,…). Petit bémol pour les matelas à ressort
